Chapter :4

Zander's P.O.V

In all the years I have known James I have never witnessed a woman turn him down. Lacey did not only put him down but in his place while having a smile upon her face. An indeed worthy adversary . This was going to be introsting two weeks. Not only she had an amazing figure but sharp Witt. She's going to be prefect.. maybe too perfect.

He already liked her but when she said she had rules . The rules were detailed she didn't want any unwanted physical contact such a shame . Her full lips screamed to him he wanted to claim them . She's a firecracker in a small package her eyes lite up when she figured out that it was going to be me she had to spend time with. 

When she retreated back to her seat . I laughed for the first time in months since my dad ,miles,past away. My mom put on her fake mask to hide the pain . She would never let anyone see her weakness even her own son. My mom Janet refused to be called mom. She was still a young woman ,not an old or a mother. I called her mom just to piss her off.

My sister Simone just recently moved in with Mom due to her husband ,Richard. He was always away on busniess trips. Leaving her alone to care for their two rambunctious kids. Janet offered for them to come stay with her when Richard was away.Simone's two kids were slowly warming that cold woman's heart. In his opinion, She needed to be loved after mile's death.

The pretty studardess came by with her cart offering beverages and appetizers. " are you on the menu?" James asked the studardess smiled and gave him water " cool down sir ". He huffed as she passed . "I guess William gets shut down twice today your starting a new record " I laughed at his discomfort. "It's just not my day. So what u think of the Librarian ?"

"She's perfect". I muttered and look out towards the horizon

Lacey's P.O.V

I walked straight to the bathroom after empty all the contents of my stomach . I washed my face and stared at the woman before me. It wasn't " the little mouse" anymore I was a tigress who took what she wanted . Hear me roar world . I walked out w brew Sense of confidence . I had done it I put Alexander gage in his place and it felt wonderful.

Sat down next to a sleeping Victoria as the studardess came up . " ma'am this is from a gentleman in first class." A covered tray . She left as abruptly as she came. A note on top of a red rose.

Alex! I thought he liked to be called Zander . Not expecting this side of him she brushed it off. This was only a business proposal not romance.

She never was given a flower in all the years she had been with Paul. "Flowers are frivolous waste of money . they only die then what are you left with? "He would always say. Her mother almost had a heart attack .when Paul said that infront of her. Mom owned a flower shop she adored flowers . Great first impression ..Paul .

He had bought Claire flowers not her . She clinched her fists at the memory.

She was going to move on from his memories she was free. She would do things she had never done . Go on a date with a charming man, go on a picnic by the sea, eat fresh pineapples , dance the night away. And most of all she was gonna have a Hawaiian romance. The ones that would change her life forever. That's what she was going to do as she drifted off to sleep.

A soft hand caressed her cheek . " honey wake up ready to go home? " this must be a dream and if so she didn't want to be waken.

Lacey relaxed into the warmth of the hand. She slowly opened her eyes to a smoldering intense Zander standing over her. She started to squeal as his soft lips pressed against hers there was flashing of lights every where . She slowly melted into the kiss as his tongue touched her bottom lip .she moaned into his moth as he deepened the kiss . The studardess  " sir its time to evacuate the plane ". We looked at her then at each other had that really happen. I broke my own rules hours after making them. This is going to be a long two weeks she said with a sigh.

James chuckled and. Vicotria grabed me by the elbow stearing me away from Zander. " what was that ?" She said under her breath . Long story, Tori, very long story. I sighed again. I told her everything as we went go find out bags. "So,you and him for two weeks? "No were together for two weeks your going to be there also.

Our favorite movie of all time is pretty woman .
who wouldn't want to be swept off your feet by Richard Gere  .She smiled" like in pretty woman without the hooker part "!I can so do this at least one of us is happy. 

This is real life the girl doesn't get swept off her feet and life isn't so prefect. Lacey reminded herself as she found her bags and hailed a taxi .

Victoria cousin Tadeo came running up.  Grabbing around the waist and spinning around " how's my flower been? " I giggled and laugh " my husband , I have missed you so" we giggled as he spun me again . Letting me slowly down as someone cleared their throat loudly . James and Zander watched as Victoria giggled . Tadeo this is James and Zander there our guests for our stay. "Ma is gonna be tickled pink you bring home your beau". She started to tear up whispered "David divorced her two months ago"

Tadeo hugged Victoria they were big hugging group. You couldn't help but loved them. Tadeo slung his arm around our shoulders and walked to his car . "Hey brah we only got so much room sorry dudes" the guys stopped with scowled upon their face. " then we will meet you at the hotel ." We waved as they walked off take that Alex.

They simply didn't like this tadeo guy he looked at Lacey like a love sick puppy. I don't trust him Alex muttered . " I don't trust him he acts ...shady" james answered.
