Chapter:9

I was about to tell mom when the door swung open and a very mad dad standing there.

Billy's P.O. V

It's been weeks since I got home my lovely wife calls or Skype every other day. I hoped my angel would marry tadeo so we would be closer. My love called the night before saying my angel brang home a playboy billionaire instead of tadeo I had to come home to knock some sense in her or her boy.

Alexander gage look him up dan I need to know all about him. Dan is my right hand man and secretary . If I need information he is the one.
He is supposable dating my daughter . I hope her and tadeo would get together . He loved her, listened to me, and good on the island.
But he was under her radar I had to help. To make her happy.

I took two planes just to get home to my beatuiful wife. It was morning and she. Made my favorite waffles and bacon. To see him in my clothes hugging my angel. All heck broke loose. I broke his nose in the first blow....

Zander's P.O.V

My face exploded with pain before I knew what was happening. Blood gushed from my nose. I pushed Lacey behind me and upper cut my attacker . She screamed daddy I stopped to see her run towards the figure on the ground. Oh shyt . I just upper cut mad dog miller in his own house ... Her father I need to run.

I backed away as rosemary ran towards her husband.Billy's tongue stuck out and ran it along his  split lip . I should leave when a hearty laugh rang out. "Boy u protected my angel". Everyone was looking bewildered at his statement. He chuckled harder "u pushed my angel behind u as i attacked u . U have my respect boy. "Put out his hard for me to grasp.

Zander looked at him in shock did I just earn mad dog's respect?

Can I get you a rag? Rosemary asked I nodded as pain escalated . You need a doctor let's go Lacey said as she ushered me towards the door.
I waited for her to chew me out for hitting her dad.

I have never seen anyone take down my dad in one blow. She chuckled . I moaned as my phone rang I had to get it. I had to put it on speaker.

James and Zander's phone call

James: hey buddy just got a call .dinner with the Connors at 7 at the pier . The Pier is an upper class restaurant on the south side of the island. Your pretty girlfriend needs to be present.

Zander: ok he muffled

James : what's wrong

Lacey : sorry, alex ,can't talk .were going to the doctor my dad broke his nose .

James: what .. Zander are you all right ? What happened?

Lacey(laughed) : it's a long story . We will have him better by dinner. Bye James

James: sounds like you had as much fun as I did.Victoria's grandma whacked me for bringing her home drunk . Then I had to sleep on the front swing.  I was in no shape to drive or walk to the hotel.where her dog licked me til I woke up.

Lacy laughed

Zander : bye James.

Is he always so talkative ? Lacey asked as she shifted his weight . One arm around his trim waist and slung his arm around her shoulder.

Zander took his rag from his face .I'm the only family he got left. As he ran his hands through his bed head hair ruffling it more. His parents died when he was young and his only sibling died last year . So he acts like he fine but he's broken. I don't know why I just told you something so personal. We barely know each other but I feel like I can tell you anything.

She was silent til they got to the hospital . Hey waited two hours .just to be told what they already knew. The wise doctor put a bandage over the bridge of his nose . No kissing for two days . It will bleed a little and will have swelling   . He didn't ask how Alex broke his nose he seemed as if he didn't care. They left Lacey didn't have to hold him up . So they stride down the quiet street . "It's nice to just walk anywhere you need and not have to worry about .cars ,smog,mugging,or Bicyclists to run you over". He said to break the silence. She nodded

"Your not what I expected in a good way" Lacey blushed

He looked at her in " what you expect pray tell ms.miller?"

"A shallow business oriented -playboy a$$hole"  she added quickly" your the most sweetest down to earth guy ever"

You don't know that side I can be cutthroat when it comes to business . But my personal life I like to live  from day to day. It kills Janet and my ex. Chantel.

A fiery burn of jealousy coursed through her veins . " whose Janet "she said tight lipped.

He laughed then held his nose in pain" you so cute when your jealous. Janet is my mom she doesn't like to be called mom".

"Oh" Lacey looked her feet " I'm not jealous".

"Oh yes you are,flower" he reached for her waist playfully . To his surprise a giggle excaped as his fingers came in contact with her side.....she's ticklish . She wiggled and giggled trying to get away . Tears streamed down her eyes.

"Alex"

His lips descended upon hers a soft gentle kiss .the kiss was over before she could register what had conspired. she looked into his eyes as flashes went off. Way to ruin a perfect moment .
