Lacey's P.O.V
Wow that's a lot to absorb Alex had a lot of drama and secrets within his family . That his best friend Gabe,chad and the unknown pual are his older step brother. It couldn't mean her ex. Paul is his brother it couldn't be possible.

She tried to wrap her head around it, karma couldn't be that cruel and twisted.

They spent like forever in the dress shop . She was trying on shoe and dresses . she just wanted to go home and snuggle on her couch.

They all laugh as though they known each other all their lives not just hours. She didn't miss her family and Victoria as much as before.
They didnt have time to go back to her apartment they bought their dresses and wore them out .

They put all their bags in the car as Simone
called her husband Richard about the Girls.
She cooed into the phone as we drove the restaurant . Little did she know that this was gonna be a long night.

Porters had tables from the front to the back the end of it had a bar and a huge fish tank . Lacey looked around as Simone introduced her around. Simone had taken her and lula under her wing .

Til he brother (s) entered Zander in front with a beautiful Chantel hanging on his arm . His eyes lite in surprise ,pleasure , and something else she could describe. when their gazed locked he moved in her direction.Chantel pulled him back whispering something in his ear.

That witch I cursed her silently under my breathe. Simone laughed" so I'm not the only one ...you have now earned a alli in" bring -the -fake- slut- down" cause. Victoria will be pleased.
"You know my best friend ? Aren't you full of surprises."

Yes James brought her home to meet me and mom. We adore her she's perfect for him if he just pull his head out of his azz. Finally make it official.
There was tears streaming down her face victoria told him to his face right before she left for Paris

A brooding James and Gabe came in next . The ying and the yang of the family as lula would say.

James..One dark..always preparing for the worst
Gabe...One light..always preparing for the best

They equal each other out. They were totally in aware they were step brothers.

Then came chad in a plaid suit that matched lula's hair . He smiled and came towards us and so did James and Gabe.
"My lovely  May I get you a drink ?"
"Can you?" She retorted 

He smiled wider slowly winding his arm Around her thin waist ushering her towards the bar lovely, I have missed your sassy mouth.  I shake my head ,thank god alex ,never used lines that corny I would have offended him by laughing.

James brooded like most guy in teenage novels. Handsome brooding bad boy player stood in the corner...I busted out laughing.
Spilling champagne upon my blue lacy dress. I excused myself to go to the bathroom . Simone offered to come with as a good friend would. I declined .

I tried to wipe my dress when Chantel came in I dodged into the stall it felt like high school.
Then being grown adults . I felt horrible about hiding from her . I'm not mousy any more.

The other woman with Chantel  squealed. "I just can't believe she showed her face why would he want her when he could have you."
as she fluffed her hair teasing it higher than before.  Chantel adjusted her dress
"that rat is cannot compete with me . He only feels sorry for her. Stupid girl thought Alexander actually loved her. He's a good actor. He's been all over me since she left."
