"You, Carl, Judith, and Mika are going into the office building on the other side of the grounds. Hershel will be in there as well as the other kids," Rick says.

"So I need to get packed?" I ask he nods and stops when we get to the doorway of C-block. I tell Mika that we have to move, the girl nods before going into her cell. I go to my own room.

I gather my things and help Mika pack her bag. I walk into Carl's cell to find Judith's things all packed. "Let's go little miss," I say as I pick her up. She plays with my hair, "It's very bouncy huh?" I question. Judith lets out a squeal, "I'll take that as I yes," I walk down the stairs to meet with Hershel in the common area.

"Everyone follow me," Hershel says as he walks forward. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn to see Carl.

"Hey," I say to him, "I'm gonna go check on Beth, so I'll be over in an hour," I nod as he kisses his sister.

When I find the old man he is standing with Mika, waiting for the rest of the group he smiles. "You know he likes you," he says.  I shake my head, "He doesn't like me," I say hiking Judith higher up on my hip.

"If that's what you think," he says with a smile. "We should go, they know where the building is," I say. The old man moves forward. By the time we get there Judith is ready to fall asleep. Hershel leads us inside, the man points to different rooms.

"Mika can stay in there then you and Carl can stay there with Judith and I'll be over there," he says before leaving for his room.

I shake my head and walk into my assigned room. I set up Judith's playpen and lay out a sleeping bag out for me.

"Everyone follow me," Hershel says as he walks forward. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn to see Carl.

By the time we get outside Judith is asleep on my shoulder.

"Mika can stay in there then you and Carl can stay there with Judith and I'll be over there," he says before leaving for his room.

I shake my head and walk into my assigned room. I set up Judith's playpen and lay out a sleeping bag out for me. I lay Judith in the playpen, her eyes fall closed. "Night Jude," I whisper before I stand up. I sit down on  my sleeping bag with a book.

I look up when Carl enters the room, Judith giggles at her brother. "My dad told me to give you this," Carl says holding out a belt with a gun holster and a gun.

"But I already have my bow," I say. He holds them out for me to take, "You might need something quicker. Daryl told me you can shoot."

I take the objects from his hands I run my fingers over the black surface of the 9-millimeter gun. "Here," he says grabbing the belt again.

Still looking over the gun I gasp when he places his hands on my hips. He bends down in front of me and pulls up my sweater to slide the belt through the loops in my jeans.

The metal of the buckle rattles as he tightens it around my waist, he stands up to his whole height in front of me.

I stare up at him, his hand moves to the side of my face. He leans forward and he presses his lips to mine. I smile as Carl pulls away, "Thank you," I whisper.

For three days we eat canned food and I help Mika with her school work. I hear Daryl yell something from the hallway. "Close the door!" he says, I do as I'm told and I close the door. "Hey Monkey," he says now that he's closer.

I smile, "Hey daddy," I say, "Daddy!" Mika squeals as she rushes over to me. I lean  my head against the door, Mika talks about her school work, I just listen. "I don't know how much longer you'll be here," he says. I can hear pain in his voice, "I'm leaving to go get meds."

I smile sadly, he doesn't think he'll come back, "It doesn't matter, we're fine and we're safe. Just get them and help everyone else," I whisper. Mika grabs my hand, I smile at her, "Yeah," Daryl says. I can hear him stand, "Yeah- okay." I close my eyes as he leaves. "Carl and Hershel left, if you didn't know," Mika says as she continues with her math work.

"Where did they go?" I question, the girl shrugs, "I saw Hershel leave and then Carl followed after him. I just thought that you should know," she says. I close my eyes, I can't leave Mika and Judith here on their own. "Damn it," I mutter as I place Judith in her playpen.
