Chapter 32 – Sacred Sex and Snappy Seb
I leaned back and flicked Lee’s leg when he peeled back part of the bandage.
“I thought you said it didn’t hurt that much anymore?!” Lee whined, rubbing his leg with narrowed eyes. I returned his glare, gesturing to my stomach.
Lee, as well as being fluent in Italian, was also apparently a ‘badger’ when he was a kid, so he knew first aid. I’d suggested going to the hospital to get my bandage off officially but apparently, it wasn’t safe enough.
My gunshot, which was pretty fantastic, if I do say so myself, didn’t kill Caesar but did hit him in the shoulder. Hunter and Seb went back to find some CCTV footage of what happened just to check out our enemy. Alex reckoned that he would be out of service for about two weeks, if that, so had given us a ‘break’ for the time being.
“It didn’t until you started prodding it!” I hissed, sitting back up, stretching the skin out a bit. I winced through gritted teeth and Lee put his palm on my forehead, pushing me back down against the sofa.
“Not so fast. Just stay there for a second, would you?” he requested, bending down under the sink to look for a first aid kit. Dylan, Alfie, Kyle and Alex were sharing the room next door and were going through tactics, while Hunter, Kenzi, Seb, Lee and I were stuck with Shack in the bigger room. I’d suggested killing him to give us all some more room and while half of the group agreed, Hunter said that we had to keep him for back up reasons.
Hunter dropped onto the sofa by my legs. I glanced up at him as he gently took hold of my head and placed it on his lap.
“Stop whining, you big baby and let do his magic,” Hunter said as he rested his arms on the back of the sofa. I rolled my eyes, slamming my head down onto his… precious area.
“Holy shit!” he exclaimed, moving my head to the side of his leg, rather than flat on his lap. I gave him a moment to recover, cupping his crotch like it was some kind of holy grail. He shot me a glare, ignoring me when he straightened.
“Stop whining, you big baby and start working out how we’re going to handle this,” I imitated and he sighed, shaking his head.
“Remind me again why I put up with you?” he asked through a deep breath. I grinned, patting his chin clumsily.
