five - s-suki?

1st P.O.V

''NO!'' i yelled at the top of my lungs, as i shot up straight in my bed.
''Oh...just another stupid nightmare...'', i murmured to myself.
I walked out of my room to wash my face since i was sweaty, and walked down to eat breakfast.

While eating, something came up my mind. I didn't visit the teashop in quite a while. I wonder what is Lee doing.
I decided to check on him. I took the monorail to the Lower Ring and went straight to the teashop.

It looked less crowded than it was the last time I was there, but i went in anyway.

I looked everywhere for Lee and the old man, but i couldn't find them, so i finally decided to ask the man that was washing the teacups:
''Excuse me, do you know where Lee and the old man might be? You know, the ones that work here.''

The man looked up to me and asnwered my question:'' Oh, they left the teashop this morning, they were offered to begin their own business in the Upper Ring. I've heard that it'll be named 'Jasmine Dragon'.''

''Thank you so much, i'll see you around!'', i exclaimed as i left the little, now empty teashop.

I took the monorail again, this time to the Upper Ring. I arrived, asking people where could Jasmine Dragon be.

I finally found the way to the teashop, and i entered. It was pretty crowded.
I sat down, waiting for Lee to come.

I sheepishly smiled as Lee came up to my table in a good mood.
''Lee! It's so good to see you again!'', i said in a cheerful tone.
''I'm really glad to see you too Y/N'', he replied.
''Woah! Look at you! You look better than ever, and you are actually smiling!'' I pointed out, earning a laugh from the boy.

We talked and drank tea together, when i decided to visit the Gaang. I greeted Lee, and walked out of the Teashop.

I noticed Katara, so i smiled, trying to be nice to her after she'd been kinda rude to me: ''Hey Katara! Where are you going?''

She actually looked genuinely happy and responded: ''I heard there was a brand new teashop down the street so i decided to check it out. I also heard they have good tea.''

As if i wasn't just there, i walked back to the shop, entering it again. Katara noticed something, and she suddenly stopped.

''Zuko...'', she mumled to herself.
''Zuko? As in 'Prince Zuko'?'' I asked, completely clueless on what's happening.

Katara grabbed my hand all of a sudden, and ran in the direction of the palace.

''Suki! Thank God you're here. Something terrible is going on, the fire nation has infiltrated in the city! I just saw Prince Zuko and his uncle! We have to tell the Earth King right away!'', Katara shouted as soon as we got in the palace.

''Don't worry, i'll be sure to let him know.'' the girl called Suki said, looking at us with a mischevious look.

A skinny girl with braids launched at Katara and knocked her out. I looked around and saw a rock, which i decided to use in defense.

I shot it towards 'Suki' and she dodged it with ease while she wiped off her makeup.

I was terrified, as i was standing in front of the fire nation princess, Azula. I bent the walls, so they knock them out, but only the girl with braids got hit.

Another girl shot some kind of blades towards me, and one blade stabbed me in the shoulder. Azula effortlessly shot a blue fireball at me, while the blade girl sat down on the stairs.

I didn't know what to do, i could dodge it, avoid it, or shoot it back. Katara blacked out, so shooting it back sounded like the best option.
I held back the fire, and shot it straight back at her as it turned red.

Azula's jaw fell down to the floor, and she looked at me, eyes full of anger.
I tried picking Katara up, but i failed as blades and fire were constantly shot at me.

As i couldn't do anything, i ran as far as possible from the palace.
I'm sorry Katara, i'll come back to get you.

I sighed as i got further and further from the Upper Ring, hiding behind a statue of the previous king.

I could've done anything. Go to Gaang's house, seek for help from the soldiers, anything. And even though i've promised myself to never do it, i firebent. What is wrong with me?

I heard giggling somewhere. I turned around and saw a happy little girl pulling on her dad's hair while her mother was trying to kiss her cheek.

I smiled as i felt a tear roll down my face. I wiped it off, i couldn't let my emotions get the best of me when the whole city is in mortal danger.

I need to find Aang, he'll know what to do. And i'll get Katara, it's my fault she's trapped after all.

Again, i cautiously ran, but this time towards my house. It was already dark outside, which meant the lights will go out.

Since there was no one around, i fearfully made a fire in my palm and walked closer to the main street of the Middle Ring.

If we get out of this mess, i need to tell Aang about my bending. I need to go with them, and that means i'd leave grandpa. But i need to do this. He said that he'll support all my decisions, no matter what.

As soon as i got home, i ran to hug grandpa tightly, staining his shirt with tears and a little bit of blood. He hugged back, realizing what the hug meant.
''I'm-''
''I know. But please, just be safe. I love you.''

I smiled to myself as i climbed to my room, and packed a few things into my backpack. One of them was a golden necklace, in which i kept my family photo.

I put it around my neck, and ran down the stairs. I hugged grandpa again and said: ''I'll miss you.''

He smiled, ans he looked at my blood stained shirt and casually said: ''Just remember to be careful and not get any of these again, it takes a while for stabs to heal.''

I just shrugged it off and wraped some bandages around the wound, just in case.

Grandpa walked with me to the end of the street, and proudly looked at my figure walking away.

I turned around to see him waving at me. I won't se him in quite a while. I waved back, turned around and left, into the dark.
