Chapter Twenty-one-
"Agreement"
___
I put on a bewildered face, silence crept through the empty aura. -Awkward Silence-. I try speaking up. "That's n-" "They're not your real parents, you're not their daughter." I look at Prince Charming, his face shaded with delusion. "You're high. You must be high, telling me this." He interrupts-"Look I-," "Just admit it, you're high-you think- you think this isn't a problem right? What? Do you think I'm gonna believe you? Do you honestly think-" "Okay Princess, that's enough-" "You, you must be sick to think kidnapping someone wouldn't be considered a big deal. You all are sick. You disgust me. And what is this nonsense? The Oblivion? In need of my abilities? What am I to you, A puppet? You're messing with my head, you're seriously all messed up-" "You're right, but we don't have a choice. We're not doing it for us, or for you- you're saving the world here. It wouldn't matter who you're parents were, or who you are. And this isn't a stupid reality game where everything goes by the laws- it's beyond that. If you're gonna save the world- some rules need to be broken." I collect my broken patience, still burning up from that. Unable to properly feel anything at this point. Time felt like it suddenly stopped. Thoughts were all circling me, they're really messing with my head. But what if this isn't a joke, what if the world is in danger. What if- I'm the only one that can do something? I take a few seconds to think past it, over and over. "If I'm gonna save the world, from- whatever it is, I'm gonna make damn sure people remember my name."
"That might be a promise you won't end up keeping."
