"Alternate Universe"

"What do I have to do?"
They look at each other. "This will sound... stupid. But there's such thing as magic, just in an alternate universe. Time, environment, and society are equivalent, except you will possess magic which you will require. You will take the position of a minor villager. It's best if you don't ask many questions, there isn't much time." Somehow, he's annoying me. But I have no choice, I need to keep quiet... for now. "There's only one thing," ?... "Time is unknown in this new realm. So, everything would seem unidentified depending on the period of time you end up. Just, be sure to somehow fit in." Time, huh. I'm starting to regret agreeing to this... How will I possibly be able to deal with all this? I had accepted so stupidly thinking I was able to comprehend the required matters of this plan.
How could I be so unwilling against my own will? Most accordingly, how do they expect of me to do all this? "You will need to go back. No one can know about this- no one."
"I didn't come here, you brought me here.- I don't even know what this place is-" He cuts me off, "This'll bring you back." He hands me a device of some sort. "It'll transport you back to your castle. It's additionally a recording device, it'll be easier communicating through this." How do I even work this thing? I push what seemingly resembled the "transport button". "Wha-
The device lets out a deep quiver. I open one eye, hoping no one appeared. It was quiet. The daylight reached to my face, it was noon. The sun is setting. I got up, worried about cleaning up the mess I didn't even do. Ugh, the frustration is getting to me. I kneel down reaching for the device I was handed, placing it inside the first drawer of my bedside table. I peep out the open door to my bedroom, "I wonder where everybody disappeared". That's right... They must be looking for me.
