After a few chat with Jin, Jungkook and Jimin finally decided to get going.

"I want you to remember one thing when you get inside the house" Jungkook says, not leaving his gaze from the road.

Jimin faced Jungkook. He was a bit nervous today. It will be his first time not having his Jin hyung around him but somewhere deep in his heart, he felt safe knowing he will be with Jungkook. He tried to shrug the idea off, but it truly bugs him. It isn't right to think that way. He should be professional- but he just can't help it.

"I'll be taking note on my mind Sir" Jungkook nodded yet his brows were furrowed. In Jimin's opinion, Jeon Jungkook was a little too handsome. His eyes had a sparkle but it was obvious that he was masking it. His nose, although big, was pointed and it fits his face. And his lips, it's actually so cute, almost like that of a bunny, that Jimin wants to caress it.

"Park Jimin-ssi, am I understood? Jungkook took a quick glance on Jimin. The latter blinked, not catching what the younger said. He was too occupied admiring Jungkook's feature under the light of the moon that he lost his presence of mind.

Jimin cleared his throat. "I- I'm sorry. C-could you please s-say it again?" he looked anywhere but Jungkook. Jungkook's already knitted forehead furrowed even more.

"We're you not listening?" there was a hint of annoyance on the younger's voice which made Jimin oddly stiff. He gulped. He really shouldn't be thinking weird thoughts about his boss or else it will just go in the way. Professionalism. He should imprint that word on his mind.

"It's just that.. I h-have things running on my m-mind. Yeah, that's all" okay, so maybe that was a bit defensive but Jimin couldn't care less. Jungkook wouldn't know anyway.

"A guy?" the younger asked, again taking a quick glance on on the older. Jimin's heart started thumping a bit too faster for his liking. Did he noticed me staring?

"No!" he quickly answered which made Jungkook smirk. Jimin cleared his throat just to ease the tension a bit "What were you saying Mr. Jeon?" Jimin sounded rather reserved but the bullets of sweat that were running down his forehead betrayed his calm and compost aura.

"Jeon? Doesn't it sound familiar?" Jungkook smirked. His eyes were blazing but his facial expressions were controlled and- masked. Jimin was confused whether it was a form of mockery or amusement. Either of the two is making him comfortable though.

"Sorry, but what do you mean?" for some reason, Jimin couldn't look at Jungkook in the eye. Not even in the face. His heart was thumping crazily  it hurts so much. He wanted to cry but he had no reason. He just felt- lonely. Like all of a sudden. Almost like he was not complete. Like a vital part from his body was ripped off of him. Jungkook pulled the car on the side.

Jungkook leaned his one arm on the steering wheel while intensely looking at the confused boy in the name of Jimin "Tell me Jimin, what are you really up to? Are you not done yet with the games you're playing?" all so suddenly, Jungkook's voice sounded so tired and his heart unexpectedly clenches even more at that. Jimin was utterly confused what the younger was talking about but he felt his words being stabbed directly on his heart.

"Mr. Jeon, I really don't know what you are talking about" Jimin gathered all of his courage to look at the younger in the eye. He shouldn't have. "Do you know me?" Jimin was trying so hard not to shed a tear in front of Jungkook. He was trying so so hard but it was all too difficult.

Jungkook stared at Jimin for a minute. He wanted to find answers. He wanted to unveil his lies but all he saw was pain and melancholy. He wanted to grab him and throw him out of the car to get back at him for all the pain he's given him but he can't. He wanted to accuse him of hurting him right there and then but it just doesn't feel right. Maybe it's still the lingering feelings. Or maybe the concsience- who knew, but he couldn't hurt the man who had put him in hell for the past years just because of the pain in his eyes.

"Don't get inside my room. Don't touch anything. And DON'T ever get out of my place without telling me where you're going am I understood?" Jungkook may look cool on the outside but he was in all jittery inside. He was conflicted as to why he was treating the man in front of him nicely when he was the very cause of his pain. He was already so sure he moved on but why did it became so hard now that he was facing him?

Jimin, on the other hand, was already nervous and it doesn't help that Jungkook's attention was now fully turned unto him. His voice was harsh but then fixed Jimin's seatbelt while speaking. His face was hard but his eyes were soft. Everything made Jimin more anxious than he already was. He already has a feeling that Jungkook knew him even before his accident. Jungkook just wouldn't admit it.

"Am I understood Mr. Park?" every word comes out with gravity. Jimin nodded. Jungkook drove the car back on the road.

Jimin kept thinking, maybe he had done something wrong on the younger before? He's mad at him and it's super obvious. But what exactly did he do to make someone this mad at him?

At that very moment, Jimin decided to try his hardest to retrieve his memories back. He's one hundred and one percent sure Jungkook will not answer him if he'll ask. He just knew.  So he will risk it. It maybe painful and will put his life at risk- but he'll try.

The rest of the drive was silent. Jimin fell asleep while Jungkook focused on driving. If Jimin was planning on retrieving his lost memories, the younger was thinking of plans how to get back on his conniving husband. He's playing fire with fire but he will make sure it'll burn Jimin, not him. As a plan was formed on his head, he took a quick glance on the boy sitting on the passenger seat of his car.

Jimin had lost weight, he observed. Maybe because of stress? Maybe, he don't know. But he shouldn't sympathize him. Park Jimin don't deserve it. He deserves pain. He deserves to be punished. He deserves Jeon Jungkook's wrath.

"Park Jimin-ssi, wake up. We're here already" Jungkook shaked Jimin which woke the latter up.

"Uh? Oh, okay" Jimin mindlessly locked off his seatbelt, opened the door, and gathered his things while waiting for Jungkook to get off the car.

"Get on the top floor and wait for me outside the elevator. I have to park my car" without further do, Jimin did as he was told.

Upon entering the building, a child bumped off Jimin. The child looked at Jimin apologetically, afraid he might get shouted at. Jungkook stopped the car to see what will his liar of a husband will do.

"Are you alone?" Jimin asked, snapping his head from left and right to see if anyone was with the kid.

"No, I'm alone. Sorry ahjussi for bumping into you" the kid bowed at Jimin to show he was sorry. Jimin ruffled his hair.

"Next time, watch your way okay?" the kid nodded "so are you going up?" the kid nodded again but with a big smile appearing on his face this time. Jimin returned the smile then held the kid's hand as they entered the building together.

"Stop trying to be good Park Jimin" Jungkook whispered as he looked at the scene not too far away from where he had parked his car. He sounded more like convincing himself thoug than just spilling what was on his mind.

"But ahjussi-wait" the kid said out of the blue which made Jimin stop from walking. Jungkook stopped his hand mid-air as he was just about to pull out the key of his car.

"I think I have already seen you" the kid said knowingly. Jimin furrowed at the kid.

"Where might that be?" Jimin asked, brows furrowed.

"Philippines?" the kid looked unsure but it was already enough to destroy Jungkook. He inwardly scoffed at the newfound information.

That was the place he went together with Sungwoon.
