Jungkook's smile had always been Jimin's favorite. His bunny tooth, his widely-strectched thin lips, and his crinkly eyes. All of those form a very sincere and warm smile that never fails to melt his heart. Jimin would always feel like falling in love all over again whenever he sees that smile.

Now, seeing Jungkook hold onto him tightly breaks his heart. Gone were the smiles. It was completely replaced with worried eyes and hesitant mind.

The battle that they were facing right now is not just about being completely able to fight physically. It requires more than that. Things like.. trust. For them to overcome the upcoming obstacles, he needs Jungkook to trust him. More than ever.

"Yoongi hyung, I want you to use me as a bait to catch whoever was after me. I am confident that Jisoo's murderer is the same person with mine" Jimin needs that trust right now.

"What? No! I won't let you" Jungkook stood from his seat, eyes screaming with opposition. Only that, his opposition will do nothing now. Jimin has already decided.

"Let's lure Choi Yuri. If she's really the one after me, she won't hesitate to grab the opportunity" Jimin heeded Jungkook no attention. The younger was on the verge of bursting out if not for Taehyung who grabbed him by his sleeves.

"Baby, you know that plan is dangerous. It would put your own life on the line!" Jungkook didn't mind if everyone was listening. All he wanted to do was to make Jimin realize how stupid the idea was.

"Either way, my life will always be on the line Kookie. We both know that" Jimin said calmly, trying to grasp the younger's hand but Jungkook avoided the elder's hands by bringing his own inside his pockets.

"That's just selfish Jimin"

Jimin. Jungkook called him Jimin. Not baby, not love. Just Jimin.

"I think both of you needs to talk this out first Jiminnie" Taehyung spoke, trying to ease the tension that was clouding the whole living room. Everyone agreed with the boy's suggestion. Even Jin.

No matter how they look at the situation, Jungkook was right. It's a really dangerous step to take on, but Jimin wasn't wrong either. If they won't take a step ahead, their enemy will surely outsmart them. Jimin's life would still be on the risk.

"Let's just go home" Jungkook said coldly, not even giving them a single glance. Jimin turned to look at Taehyung worriedly. For Pete's sake, they just made up this morning and now.. now they were already fighting. And not just any cat fight. Jimin wanted to beat himself up for ruining his relationship with his husband.

"He's not really angry" Yoongi spoke, handing Jimin a checkered hanky. The younger didn't notice the tears rolling down his cheeks. He was too busy blaming his idiotic self.

Jimin stayed for a while to compose himself. He didn't want Jungkook to see him as a complete mess. And even if the younger will get mad at him, he would still go for his plans. It's the only way he could think of. Also, he's not doing this just for himself, he wanted to do this because he wanted to live happily and freely with his husband. With his Jeon Jungkook.

Jimin took one last sigh before facing the other five guys "I'll go now hyung"

Everyone took turns on hugging and patting Jimin by the shoulder. It will surely be a bumpy ride for Jimin and Jungkook for the upcoming days and they knew that. But they also knew that both their love for one another is more than enough to finish that bumpy ride and get them to the finish line before they even realize it.

The drive going home was very silent. Jungkook focused on driving, gluing his gaze completely on the road. The younger also wore a visible scowl all throughout the ride. Jimin wanted to comfort him but he knew it wasn't the right time for that. Also, Jungkook has a habit of driving fast whenever he was frustrated. Jimin did not want to trigger that, especially now that he has trauma with over-speeding cars.
