"So.. uh" Jungkook opened up, not really
knowing where to start "you remembered me?" he asked, munching on the pancakes Jimin prepared later that morning."Yeah" Jimin nodded, blushing at the memory of Jungkook's confession "but" he sighed heavily, anticipating the disappointment on his husband's face for what he's gonna say "the accident.. I still don't remember it"
Jimin fixed his gaze on his feet that were dangling on the high chair. Shame flooded his system when he remembered what he wrote on that freaking letter.
It was Jungkook's large and warm hands which brought him back to reality.
"You made me really happy right now baby" soft and warm pair of lips moulded Jimin's plump ones "so happy" Jungkook said, voice laced with so much sincerity and love.
"I missed you" he finally confessed as tears threatened to fall down his cheeks "I miss you so much Jungkook" his arms automatically wrapped the younger's larger form, a choked sob slipping past his lips. He couldn't stop himself from crying. Not when Jungkook looks at him with full adoration instead of disappointment and hate.
Jungkook had always been like that, even from before. He was always the one to call truce whenever they had fights. He was always the first one to say sorry even when he's not at fault. He was always the one who would open up first because he didn't want to sleep without talking out the reason why they fought.
"Aren't you disappointed in me?" he asked with a shaky voice "I missed the most important part of my lost memory" he held Jungkook's hand in his, trying to let him remember how much of an asshole he was for cheating on him, but the younger seems unaffected by his blunt question.
"Shh, love. You know I hate it when you cry" Jungkook said instead, gently wiping Jimin's stray tears with his thumb "and don't worry, you retrieved the most crucial part of your memory" Jungkook pecked a kiss on Jimin, a sweet smile plastered on his cupid's bow lips. He then stood up to grab and place the used dishes on the sink.
"Most crucial?" Jimin asked, flabbergasted by Jungkook's response. He just told him he was not able to remember what happened before the accident and here he was, telling him he retrieved the most crucial part of his memory. Is he deaf or something?
"Hmhm" Jungkook nodded, now wiping the table clean. Afterwards, he lazily went to Jimin, pulling him closer by the waist "me" the younger said smugly while pointing himself "I am your most crucial memory baby" another peck on the lips and Jungkook was already out of his sight.
"Get changed babe, we're visiting your Jin hyung today" the younger shouted from their room.
Meanwhile, Jimin was still stuck in the kitchen, right hand glued on his chest while the other gripping on the chair behind him to keep his balance. He was calming his erratic heartbearts- and miserably failing. Damn Jungkook's effect on him. Though.. he undoubtedly love all the tingles on his stomach but still!
When he was convinced that he was already calm-well, not really- he followed his jackass of a husband. Not to talk to him though. No, he wouldn't dare or else he would just expose his stuttering self. That would be totally shameful.
"I will just change into a decent clothing and will maybe wait for him on the parking lot" he started taking nervous steps towards their room"Yes, that sounds like a plan" He muttered.
Only that, when he arrived inside the room, there stood Jeon Jungkook.
In all his glory.
Damn.him.
