"Jimin-ah?" Taehyung called, swinging the door open as he peeked his head inside Jimin's hospital room.

"Uh? Is he using the bathroom?" Taehyung thought out loud as he noticed Jimin's empty bed. Slowly, he entered the room, putting the bag of goods and the bowl of porridge on the bedside table.

"Jimin?" Taehyung called again, this time his voice was louder that it echoed inside the constricted walls.

When there was still no response the third time he called him, Taehyung took the initiative to walk into the bathroom. It was empty. No one was in the room. With erratic heartbeats, Taehyung stormed out of the room. He was running really fast that he hasn't noticed Jungkook approaching him until his cousin grabbed him by the shoulder.

"Why are you running?" Jungkook asked, oblivious of the current situation. Taehyung was hesitant wether he should tell Jungkook first or Jimin's doctor who was only meters away from them, entertaining another patient who was on wheelchair.

"Taetae hyung?" Jungkook snapped his fingers in front of the older, bringing Taehyung back on track.

"Jimin is missing" without further do, he spilled it. Jungkook's reaction was almost immediate. The younger's mouth opened but no words were coming out from it. A couple of seconds later, Jungkook dashed towards Jimin's room. Taehyung on the other hand, did the most reasonable thing at the moment. He approached Jimin's doctor.

"Doc, have you.. perhaps, seen Jimin around here?" he asked, lips bitten and abused. The situation would have been better if Hoseok was there but unfortunately, he left with Yoongi and Jin first thing in the morning for some unknown reasons. They said they needed to run some errands and wouldn't be back until early afternoon. It was just 8:37 in the morning. And if his hunches were right, Jimin ran away.

"I haven't. Why? Is he not in his room?" Taehyung almost snorted at the obvious question. He wanted to snap at the doctor but there was no time for it. Jimin was missing. That should be their focus.

"I double checked the room. He's not there" Jungkook interfered. "Please tell the security to close the exit for the time being" the younger ordered, body restless and anxiousness evident on his face.

"But sir, I couldn't do such thing. It's against protocol- " the doctor said.

"Do you think I fucking care about protocol? Just fucking tell them to seal the exit" Jungkook, with murderous eyes and sharp voice ordered with finality "I'll take full responsibility for this and tell Jung Hoseok myself. Now do what I told you" he added.

"Ah ye" the doctor followed, hastily going past the crowd to relay Jungkook's order to the security.

"I'll look for him" Jungkook said, face calm but Taehyung knew better. When it comes to Jimin related problems, Jungkook was never calm. The redness on his ears down his neck was enough proof.

"We'll find him" Taehyung said reassuringly, tapping Jungkook's back to calm the younger. Jungkook nodded, tongue poking his left cheek. A habit of his whenever he's nervous, flustered, or jealous.

"We will" Jungkook nodded, more like convincing himself than telling Taehyung. The elder gave him one last assuring squeeze on the shoulder before he left him to find Jimin himself.
