UNEDITED

After having their dinner with Taehyung, who continuously teased Jimin with something Jungkook didn't understand, his cousin took the intiative to leave and give them some privacy.

"You can stay Taehyung" Jimin invited but one look from Jungkook, Taehyung knew his cousin needed some time alone with his husband. He respected that.

"I'd like to Chim but I'm too tired and I'll probably just laze all day tomorrow. I'm sure my bed misses me already" he joked to somehow lighten up the mood. Disappointment was visible on Jimin's face at Taehyung's rejection but he covered it with a forced smile. Taehyung though wasn't blind not to notice how Jimin's shoulder fell at his answer. "Maybe some other time?" Taehyung flashed his box smile at Jimin in an attempt to amend him.

"I just wanted to get to know you more and remember the old me in the process" Jimin's said in an almost silent voice. He didn't mean to make Taehyung guilty but the other did. Something warm bubbled up inside him hearing how Jimin wanted to get to know him. He smiled affectionately at his best friend. He wanted to talk to Jimin too and apologize for the harsh words he threw at him but it is still not the right time.

"I promise, we'll make time soon. Would that be okay?" Taehyung asked softly as Jimin nodded, a small yet genuine smile appearing on his face. Taehyung ruflled Jimin's hair as the other hugged the him in a loose embrace. Jimin was trying to open up to them which melted Jungkook.

"I'll get going" Taehyung said as he gave Jimin and Jungkook one last hug.

"Use protection" he whispered at Jimin sneakily causing the other to turn  into a smoking tomato. Jimin slapped him hard at the shoulder which only made Taehyung laugh even harder. Jungkook was baffled as to why Jimin and Taehyung seemed to act weirdly but shrugged the idea of asking Jimin when he saw him pouting at the laughing Taehyung.

His cousin gave them one last wave before shutting the door close.

"Now what do we do?" Jimin asked Jungkook in a small voice after Taehyung' departure.

"How about we arrange your things in our room?" Jungkook said while taking the plates into the sink. He may not look nervous and all, but he was. It'll be their first time to be together as husbands after all the unexpected turn of events.

"I-in your room?" Jimin gulped at his question. He knew they were married but all of these are new to him. He was nervous to say the least.

"You want to stay in a separate room?" Jungkook asked carefully, frozen on his spot. His hands were mid-air holding the empty rice cooker.

"No. I mean, all of these are just.. new to m-me" the older answered truthfully. Jungkook nodded, understanding where Jimin was coming from.

"We still have one vacant room here, you can say there" Jungkook suggested as he continued cleaning the table and was also unable to look Jimin in the eye. He was sort of disappointed yes, but he didn't want to show it to the older so he gave him a small smile.

Meanwhile, Jimin was contemplating himself. He knew Jungkook was probably upset with him and he didn't want them to have a misunderstanding with the younger on their first night together so he gathered all the courage that's in him to finally make a decision hopefully he wouldn't regret.

"Where is your room? I'll carry some of my things there" never on Jungkook's life was he able to snap his head that fast. His eyes were round and doe as he gave Jimin a questioning look, not really sure if he heard him right.

"Second door from your right" he answered dumbly as his line of sight followed Jimin who was carefully and miserably lifting one of his luggage into the direction of the room Jungkook mentioned.
