UNEDITED

Later that day, Jimin and Jungkook were both drowned with a pile of work. Jimin's area was located inside of Jungkook's office so they worked hand in hand. Unexpectedly for Jimin, he understood the language of business although this was his first time doing the said job. He took it as an advantage on his side.

"Sir, it's already exactly 12 pm, time for your lunch" Jimin informed. Jungkook hummed in response but never stood from his seat, an indication that he wasn't going to have lunch any time soon.

"Sir, time for lunch" Jimin said again, this time his voice was tuned up and came out a little bit louder.

"I know Jimin. I heard you the first time" Jungkook said with conviction. Almost as if he was mad for being disturbed. The man's gaze was glued to his laptop.

Jimin would tolerate Jungkook asking him to do things here and there but he wouldn't let this boss of him ever say NO when it comes to eating. Health comes first.

Jimin crossed his arms in front of the working boy, tapping his feet loudly on the floor to let his presence be known.

As expected, Jungkook lifted his gaze up to Jimin. His angered face immediately transformed into a confused one the moment he saw the elder.

He looked more like Park Jimin- his husband. The one who would always reprimand him because he forgot to eat his meal. The one who would always scold him just because he got on the bed without taking a shower. The one who was always there for him when he had rough times on his work. The one who would give him a massage after a long day of work. The one whom he will always come home to and the only one who was capable of breaking him into pieces.

Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts. This man was no longer his husband. This was the devil incarnate who made him go through hell for the past years.

"What?" Jungkook asked Jimin.

"Eat lunch" Jimin said- no, commanded. Jungkook scoffed at the man in front of him.

He couldn't believe how Jimin managed to act as if he has the upper hand between the both them. He couldn't believe how thick Jimin is to ever think he still has the right to make Jungkook do his whims.

"Who do you think you are? Just because I hired you as my secretary doesn't mean you already have the right to tell me to do things your way. You're so thick-faced Park Jimin. Totally shameless." Jimin's eye widened at Jungkook's retort.

Obviously, he somehow expected Jungkook to stand up and get his lunch. Jimin didn't expect him to react that way. He meant no harm when he asked the younger to go get lunch so he couldn't comprehend why Jungkook was acting this way.

Jimin opened his mouth to apologize for crossing the line but the lump on his throat stopped him from uttering one word. The sharp pang in his chest felt like thousands of needles prickling on his fragile heart.

Meanwhile, Jungkook fought hard with himself. His hands were clenching so hard under the table as he saw Jimin's eyes turning slight red in color. His heart felt like being twisted a hundred times. He too was having a hard time but he wanted to make Jimin feel the pain he put him through over the years. But why is he hurting while seeing Jimin's confused and pained expression?

"I.. I-m sorry sir f-for crossing the line. T-this won't happen a-again" Jimin bowed as he hurried away to get out of Jungkook's office. The moment he had closed the door, he ran as fast as possible to the nearest rest room. There, he gripped his chest so hard. Ugly sobs coming out of his lips as tears keep cascading down his cheeks.
