The chilly air of the beach seeped through Jimin's sweater paws. It was a night filled with happiness and memories which he will surely treasure. Yoongi, who was  stationed on the grill was busy doing the barbeque. He remembered Namjoon and Yoongi bickering just a while ago over whether or not Namjoon should help on preparing their dinner. Yoongi was near to transforming Hulk when Namjoon accidentally- that's what he reasoned- broke the glass, spilling water over the newly cooked meat. The latter had to hide behind Jimin to escape Min Yoongi's wrath.

The other two, Hoseok and Taehyung, were all lovey-dovey near the camp fire. Both were laying on the sand with Taehyung's head on Hoseok's chest. Giggles and fit of laughters can be heard even from a distance. It makes Jimin's heart swell in happiness. His best friend got what he deserves- and he is more than happy for him. But at the same time, he was also envious.

Two years. He's been crushing over Jeon Jungkook- Taehyung and Namjoon's cousin- for two years already, and yet, he was still invisible in the younger's eyes. Taehyung once told him he wasn't and that the other also took the same intensity of liking for him- if not more, but he just can't seem to believe that. Not when everytime him and Jungkook would cross-path, the other would either fix his gaze on the floor or would turn back to where he came from. He was a hundred and one percent sure it was because the younger didn't want him.  Jeon Jungkook's dislike for him was very obvious that he decided, the day before they came here for an out of town vacation, to stop himself from liking the other.

The night breeze matched JImin's emotions. Cold and bitter. He looked at the chaotic duo that was Min Yoongi and Kim Namjoon one more time, then at the Vhope couple- as what they call themselves, a small smile slowly tugging on his lips. Luckily, he had great friends.

Jimin sauntered slowly and bare-footed on the fine sands of the shore. More than anything, he loved being alone, especially when he wants answers from questions concerning himself. Right now, there was a single question lingering in his mind since they have arrived at this beach.

How will he be able to get Jeon Jungkook out of his system?

Distancing himself surely isn't an option. They weren't even close to start with. It's embarrassing how he had thought of distancing himself when the younger had already put up a good distance between them.

Should he just decline Taehyung and his Namjoon hyung's offer whenever they would invite him in their house? He had observed Jungkook's presence for the past few months of his constant visit on his best friends' house. From the way how Jungkook never gets involve with them when they watch movies, play video games, or do random dorky things, he could tell the younger did not appreciate his presence. He would even look uncomfortable and concious whenever he was in his line of sight for Pete's sake! So yeah, maybe he should just do that. He was sure Taehyung's gonna understand him.

Oh, and maybe he shouldn't sit together with them during lunch too? Jungkook always eats lunch with his cousins. He remembered that one time when Jungkook felt nauseous all of a sudden when he  ate with them. The food was beyond great at that time so he wouldn't consider if it's taste would be used as an excuse.

Jimin had a whole plan and noted do's and don'ts in his mind for the next opening of classes. Hopefully, it'll be effective. The least thing that he wanted to happen was for Jungkook to confront him face to face and tell him to just vanish into the thin air so that the other won't see his ugly face anymore.
