The night came and Jimin got discharged. In contrast with Jin's decision earlier that day, the eldest decided it would be best for him to be with Jungkook for the mean time. When Jimin asked him what was the reason for his sudden change of mind, the elder just shrugged him off.

"Jimin, can we borrow Jungkook for a while?" Namjoon hastily asked when he and Jungkook were about to leave. The look on Hoseok and Yoongi when he accidentally turned to them were agitated. For a second, he wanted to ask what could be the problem but he didn't want to meddle with their business so he chose to keep quite. For all he know, it might just be about business.

"Yeah, go ahead. I'll just stay and wait here with Jin hyung" he smiled reassuringly at the boys but the same smile was soon wiped off when Jin spoke.

"Actually, I have something to say to Jungkook too Jimin-ah" Jin replied as he smiled nervously at him. Jimin brows immediately furrowed. He was about to ask his hyung if there was something wrong or perhaps, were they keeping something from him when Taehyung dragged him out of the room.

"I'll stay with him. We'll be at the van so you guys just go there after your talk" Taehyung said in a hurry as he slammed the door in front of him.

When the both of them reached the van, Jimin took the opportunity to ask.

"Are you guys keeping something from me?" Taehyung's reaction was abrupt. He pointed himself as if making sure if Jimin was really talking to him when in reality they were the only ones inside the van. He may not have completely retrieved his memories back but he can already tell that Taehyung will probably give him a lie or an excuse.

"We? Keeping something from you? Of course we're not. You're just imagining things Jimin-ah" the younger said as he arranged Jimin's luggages at the back of the can.

Jimin wanted to reason out, say that his gut feeling never failed him but then again, as much as possible, he will not meddle with anyone's business anymore. Unless he wants to get insulted again.

"Now what?" Jungkook hissed.

He was pissed alright. Who wouldn't be? He wanted to go home as quick as possible because he wanted Jimin to rest but then Namjoon and his other hyungs including Jin- what the fuck-just have to snatch away from Jimin's hold.

"We need to tell you something" Hoseok informed seriously. He had that look. You know, just like when he has to tell one of his patient's family about some fatal illness.

"Oh yeah? Could it be more important than letting Jimin rest?" he couldn't help but retort. Namjoonsmacked him at the back of his head, muttering something like 'respect'. Jungkook rolled his eyes at that.

"Okay, spill it" he said, finally giving-up.

"We met Cortez this day" Jin started.

"So? What do I have to fucking do with him?" he snapped at the elder, making awful faces as he imagined Jin meeting up with Cortez guy.

"Jeon Jungkook" his cousin Namjoon said warningly, voice laced with more than just annoyance.

"It's okay" Jin said as he looked reassuringly at Namjoon.

"So we met with Cortez" now Yoongi was the one who spoke "he was one of my close friends when I was still working at the Police Investigation Team. Fortunately, he was the one who helped Jin back in the Philippines with Jimin's case"
