All Gone Differnt Ways. [Book 1]

Chapter 9

The next day, Hiccup wakes up with pain shooting through his body. He groans when he hears his alarm clock beeping rather loudly.

"Shut up!" he yells at his alarm clock. Hiccup buries his face in his pillow trying to block out the beeping.

"Turn off that alarm! You worthless brat!" yells Uncle Tom. Hiccup groans again and turns off the alarm, he knows if he doesn't listen, it will be another rough night.

Hiccup gets his crutches and slowly gets up and stretches but winces when cuts rub cuts. Even through his night shirt, it's very painful.

He walks to his bathroom and takes off his shirt. He turns around and can see deep slashes dancing across his back. Hiccup knows today will be rough.

Hiccup gets dressed with some struggle but manages. He walks downstairs and tries his best to get ready. He knows his face has bruises maybe even a cut on his forehead but he doesn't want to see.

He gets his stuff before Tom comes down the stairs but his sprites are crushed when he hears pounding from the stairs signalling that Tom is hear to yell at Hiccup.

Hiccup gets ready as fast as his crutches and back will let him. His puts on his shoes and was about to open the door when he hears the kitchen door open and slam shut.

"Where are you going?" snaps Tom.

"School." says Hiccup not turning around, hand still on the door handle.

"Look at me when talking!"

Hiccup reluctantly turns around to face Tome who looks more then mad.

"When you get home, you will go straight to your room. No dinner. No talking. Got it?"

"Yea. I got it. You won't even know I'm here." Hiccup mumbles the last part and walks out the door.

Astrid wakes up to her bull dog, Stormfly barking. She smiles and sits up on her bed and sees her dog on her bed panting.

"Hey girl." Astrid says petting her dog. Astrid gets up and talks a shower. She goes back to her room and gets dressed. (picture on side. But not the red coat.) She goes downstairs and gets cereal and sits at the bar.

After she eats she braids her hair and puts on her grey beanie. She gets in her car and heads to school. When she gets there, she sees everyone talking. It seems like they are all talking about the same thing.

She picks up certain things. Such as: Hiccup, face, crutches, beat up, little girls, and pathetic.

Astrid walks through the door and goes to her locker and soon she finds out what everyone was talking about.
