All Gone Differnt Ways. [Book 1]

Chapter 16

During lunch period, Astrid pulls Ruffnut to the side before she goes into the cafeteria. She pulls her to the gym. Ruffnut doesn't look happy.

"What are you doing? Its taco day! That means I can throw taco meat in Tuffnut's hair and face! Its our tradition!"

"Ruffnut. This is important."

"What is more important then messing with my twin brother?"

"Its about Hiccup."

Ruffnut stops complaining. She looks at Astrid like she is reading her face, looking for any feelings toward someone. She finds none. 

"What about him?"

"Do you bully Hiccup?"

"Um... no. Not as much as Snotlout and Tuffnut. Why do you ask?"

"Um... I need to tell you something. And you can't tell anyone. Kay?"

"I wanna do something for him."

The rest of the day is normal. Snotlout makes fun of Hiccup. He shoves him up against lockers. Nothing out of the ordinary. But except for the fact that Astrid is hanging out with him. And she seems so focused about something.

As the day goes by, Hiccup believes that he has more bruises before he left home this morning. If that is even possible.

When gym came, Hiccup was able to sit out due to injuries. Today, they were playing kick ball. Hiccup was keeping score. Every once in a while, he would see Snotlout get the ball and throw it so hard at someone, and most times, would come straight to the face. Snotlout must be imagining that person as Hiccup. Snotlout would often do that to Hiccup when ever they are on separate teams. One time, he through it so hard, it broke Hiccup's nose. Hiccup does like playing kick ball, just not the Snotlout playing part. Hiccup is glad though, that he isn't playing today because Snotlout seems ticked off.

Hiccup can only hope that after gym, he doesn't get murdered by his cousin.

Ello!

The kick ball thing is true for me. Just not about the broken nose part though.

Whenever we play kick ball at my school, the pitcher throws the ball and every time they throw it, they just hardly miss my face.

It happens a lot.

But enough about that...

I blame homework.

Anyway...

I want to say something...

After the first week of school, I told my reading teacher that I would read the whole Harry Potter series before school ended. So far I am on book number 6.

Who thinks I can do it before school ends?
