Prologue:
I'm sitting here in my swivel chair inside my office, my head are starting to ache because of so much stuff to do. Many business proposals are proposed on our company to be our business partners but I can't accept any of them because nothing fits on my standards. I agree, the idea is all perfect but how can I accept those if those aren't what I need?
"Sir, it's already 2:30, you will be having an appointment on Mr. Tzu at 3:00." Those are the words I heard from the intercom coming from my Secretary Chuck. I hired a boy one because I don't want her to get jealous. I smiled with that thought.
"I'm coming." I said and started to pack my things, as I stood up from my swivel chair I suddenly looked at my cabinet where all my achievements are displayed on, my lips formed into a bittersweet smile.
I came closer and looked at the picture frame where is placed in the middle where it can surely be catchy on someone's eyes. I sighed heavily as I felt a hot liquid forming at the corner of my eyes, I wipe my tears before it begun to fall and I turned my back and got out from my office.
Chuck greeted me and carry my things and explained to me what Mr. Tzu might be having to talk with me, I only nodded at everything he said, I don't know. I'm feeling lazy to do something for today, more likely I wanna take a rest. We entered the car and the driver started to drive and off we go to the meeting place.
When we arrived at the meeting hall, located at our another building, many staffs greeted me and I just smiled back to them, though I'm lazy, I need to be kind and gentle to all my employees to make sure that they can't say any words against me.
As I entered the meeting hall, many Chinese men wearing on their office attires are already there, what got my attention is the man sitting at the end of the long table, his back is facing me that's why I can't see his face, but the way his hair is fixed I can tell that Mr. Tzu is still young.
"Mr. Tzu, good afternoon and I'm sorry for being late... shall we start the meeting?" I said and I also take the seat at the end of long table, Chuck sat beside me and is also looking at the front where Mr. Tzu is sitting at.
"No, it's okay... let's start." His voice sounds a bit familiar, and then when he faced me, I was stunned for a moment to see him, oh damn, how could I ever forgot that?
He smiled at me and gesture something to his other companion and then they started walking directly at the door and then they went out, he arched his eyebrow to me and then I heaved a sigh, I ask Chuck to leave us for a moment and then he did.
"It's been---how many years? Ah, was it 4 or 5 since the last time we met? How are you my friend? Seems you have raised a business successfully." He said and then he show me his mocking smile.
"What are you doing here?" I asked then rested my back at the swivel chair. He frowned at me.
"Come on man, hindi ba nasabi sa'yo ng tatay mo kung bakit ako nandidito sa harap mo?" My forehead creased on what he said and then he nodded afterwards.
"Fine... there will be a grand reunion of our alma matter, NVIS, and then your dad also said that he's giving you a break for 1 year and your brother---my cousin---Kreisler will handle this for the whole year, but of course with the guidance of your dad." I heaved a sigh and then I shook my head.
"I'm sorry but I can't take that. Nice meeting you again, Minho." I said and was about to turn my back to him when he suddenly spoke up that hit me.
