'DAD, I SWEAR to God, Thor, Odin, whoever. Don't hurt her,' Morgan told her dad strictly. However, Tony put his helmet off, too.
'Ellie, you were the good kid, right?' Tony asked confused. 'I thought you were friends?'
'Who's the third guy?' Ellie chose to ask.
Peter stepped forward, still with his mask and suit on. 'Hi, Spider-Man. Just as confused as you.'
'You're a good kid, please don't do this, Ellie,' Steve begged the girl, not wanting to hurt his daughter's best friend.
'Let me explain,' Ellie began.
'Why does every villain need to have some tragic background story? It's a waste of time to explain it, really, but go ahead,' Tony said annoyed.
'So,' Ellie continued after she shot Tony a filthy look, 'first of all, this isn't personal. I really appreciate you as a friend, Morgan, I really do. It's just that I love my sister a little more than I love any of you.'
'Don't tell me she's still alive,' Morgan sighed, not ready for another loophole.
Ellie groaned. 'No, she's still dead. Because of you two.'
Ellie pointed at Steve and Tony. Everyone was confused. Seriously, could a villain once, just for once, not have an indirect problem with an Avenger? It got tiring, really. Steve held his vibranium weapon a little higher while Tony gave the blue-haired girl a very confused look. Why did she take so damn long explaining herself?
'Tori was still a baby when my mom and her drove to Sokovia. Name ring a bell? Anyway, my mom didn't pay attention for a second and drove in the hole where the city used to be. Tori died immediately while my mom got saved. Tori died because of you. You created Ultron. You killed her. I will avenge her. And if I die trying, I'll end up with her. If I won't, then you will.'
'Ellie, are you crazy?! Get out of that suit, please, I don't want you to get hurt,' Morgan begged her friend.
'Get out of here, Morgan,' Ellie just responded. 'You have nothing to do with this fight. It wouldn't be fair if you got hurt.'
Morgan didn't move. 'Are you kidding me? I have everything to do with this fight! You're threatening my family!'
'Yeah well...' Ellie put her helmet on again. 'You killed mine.'
Then she started firing with her repulsors at Tony who flew up to her and completely ignored Morgan who screamed to leave her friend unharmed. He grabbed her arm and flew up to the sky, only to send one of the small missiles in his knee at her, which Ellie professionally dodged. Steve ran outside and climbed up the roof by jumping on the car from the neighbors. Peter and Morgan followed him.
'Spider-Man! Get Morgan out of here!' Steve yelled.
Peter nodded and looked over at his friend. 'Please don't freak out and just hold on.'
Without any further explanation Peter wrapped his left arm around Morgan and looked up. He held out his arm to shoot a web, causing the two to leave the ground. (Morgan may or may not have screamed.) Peter continued to swing until they were a block away from Morgan's house and he put her on a roof.
'Are you serious?' Morgan almost screamed. 'My dads are out there, fighting my apparently psycho best friend and you expect me to just sit here and wait for the fight to be over?!'
Then the stubborn brunette tried to leave the roof, but there was no way to, so she just sat down next to the hero with an angry and childish expression on her face.
'Yeah? Are you done?' Peter asked Morgan.
'Shut up,' Morgan just replied.
Peter stared at the two fighting suits in the air. 'That girl has to have some kind of weakness. What do you know about the suit?'
