Chapter 19: The Next Chapter

You're at the airport waiting for the boys to arrive and you can't stop smiling. You are so happy that Namjoon responded well to the news. You can't wait to start this next chapter of your life with Tae and not have to hide everything from Joon and Jin anymore. Of course, you'll still have to hide everything from ARMY but you've gotten pretty good at doing that over the past few months.
You quickly snap out of your thoughts to the yelling from the terminal gate.
Seven gorgeous Korean men are rushing towards you, yelling your name in excitement. Tae reaches you first and embraces you like you haven't seen each other in years. The other members surround the two of you and put you in the center of a group hug, congratulating you.
"Who's ready to celebrate?!" Jin shouts.
"Let's get it!" Hobi follows.
For no reason whatsoever, tears start streaming down your face.
"I told you guys it was too much!" Yoongi scolds the members.
Yoongi touches your shoulder and checks to see if you're ok.
"I'm fine...honestly. Thank you. I'm just so happy to see all of you and I've missed Tae so much." you tell Yoongi.
"Believe me...he wouldn't shut up about you either. I'm so glad everyone knows now so he doesn't have to come to me all the time. He can be annoying sometimes." Yoongi smirks and manages to get a smile out of you.
"Taehyung! Why don't the two of you get the van and enjoy some alone time." Yoongi suggests.
Despite his "I don't give a shit" attitude, Yoongi is actually very thoughtful and sweet, which surprises you.
You never really got to know him because your bestie is always occupying his free time and Hobi's free time with their sex-capades.
You can't wait to hang out with all of the members again, but this time, it will be in a more relaxed environment...at least for you and Tae. Joon and Jin are still unaware of the Sope sandwiches with your bestie and the Jikook love triangle with your other friend.
You all get back to your place and your friends already have a feast ready to feed the boys, who are like bottomless pits when it comes to eating.
"Alright" Yoongi growls "your hot friend is here" he says as he enters the dining room.
Without Namjoon seeing, he winks at you and Tae, intent on keeping up this charade of pretending not to know her.
"Let's get it!" Hobi chimes in and high fives Yoongi as they make their way over to greet your bestie.
Jimin immediately makes his way over to your other friend and greets her with a warm embrace. Namjoon thinks nothing of it because Jimin is the sweetest angel and makes everyone around him feel welcome.
"Now I know how batteries feel" Jin says out of the blue.
"Huh?" Joon says with a confused look.
"I'm not included in most things" Jin cracks up at his own joke with his window washing laugh. "It feels like everyone already knows each other so well and I'm over here just waiting to be included in this party." Jin sulks.
"Awwww... Jin." you hug him. "Nothing works quite right without batteries. We need you." you comfort him.
Jin immediately smiles and appreciates the fact that you understood his corny joke.
"Did you guys hear that?! I'm needed! At least someone appreciates their elder." Jin teases as he jokingly shoots daggers in JK's direction.
"Whoa! You know I love and appreciate you, Hyung!" JK defends himself.
"I know! I just wanted to see you squirm." Jin laughs.
"Now that everyone is comfortable, let's celebrate!" Joon insists.
You all take your place around the table for a nice meal and some drinks.
Sope, of course, take their rightful place next to your bestie.
Jikook sit across the table from each other. Your friend takes her place next to Jimin, because he patted on the seat next to him and motioned for her to join him.
You and Tae sit together, obviously.
The only seats left are the heads of the table, fitting for the oldest Hyung and the Leader.
Everyone talks and laughs while enjoying the old friendships and the new relationships being made.
You look over at your bestie, who seems to be having a little too good of a time at dinner.
It's very obvious that Sope missed her and they are wasting no time to make sure she knows it. They sure do love torturing each other. She's told you several times that the fear of getting caught makes everything so much more satisfying.
Jikook are busy making eyes at each other from across the table, basically undressing each other with their eyes.
You smile at Tae, so happy to be surrounded by all of the love.
Hopefully Joon or Jin don't notice.
You glance at each of them and thankfully they are getting lost in the alcohol and wasting no time to relax before their upcoming, grueling schedule.
