Chapter 32: California Dreamin'

You've been in California for well over a month, having new adventures daily. You still aren't sure if it's because the boys are secretly working on something or if they are avoiding the Corona Virus. Either way, you aren't about to waste any opportunities to have fun in LA.

The boys have been pretty low profile since The Late Late Show. Yoongi went to the Kobe Bryant memorial game with a friend. Other than that, there hasn't been much else going on except for talks of being on Fallon again soon. ARMY need something to talk about, so you and Tae decide to give them just that.

The Adventures of Mr. and Mrs. Kim
After you and Tae spend a few days blessing every room in your brand new, unfurnished home.
"I have today off too, babe. Let's go pick out some furniture because my back is starting to hurt from the floor. We'll have some lunch and then go to the beach. I've been dying to splash around in the water since we got here" Tae suggests.
"I love that idea! I'd love to go to an art gallery too and pick out some pieces for our rooms. Do you think we'll have time?" you ask.
"We'll make time. You know I love a good art gallery. We'll Google one on the way. Hobi wanted to check one out to see what I love so much about them, so I'll call him on our way there." Tae smiles.
"After the beach, let's head back to the hotel though. I need some changes of clothes if we're going to stay at the house before we leave" you insist.
"I'll just buy us some new stuff when we're out today. I'm not ready to go back yet. I enjoy being home with you" Tae smiles and of course, you can't say no to that face.

Now that your day is set, you dress in the clothes that have been basically gathering dust in the corner of the living room for days, only being thrown on occasionally to leave the house for food and essentials. You waste no time to head out and start your day.

You grab a quick bite at a drive-thru and eat in the car on the way to the furniture store. You can't take your eyes off of Tae while he drives. He looks so relaxed behind the wheel, with one arm resting out the window and the California breeze kissing his wavy black hair. You think to yourself, "I still can't believe he's mine" as you smile at the thought and the view of your breathtaking husband.
Tae catches you smile and flashes a quick boxy smile in your direction before immediately returning his focus to the road.
You drive about another 15 minutes or so before reaching your destination.
As soon as you enter the furniture store, Tae seeks out an employee while you begin browsing.
Tae quickly returns with someone.
"Babe, this is Steve. He's going to stay with us and write up our order and then send a decorator over tomorrow to plan out what we want for the rooms. They do everything on their laptops with our room dimensions. Pretty cool, huh?" Tae smiles and lifts his brows in excitement.
You smile in return and nod.
"Let's go have some fun! I want to start with the baby's room" Tae says.

Steve congratulates the two of you and proceeds to follow you around the store to take your order.

After the furniture store, you decided to skip lunch and go straight to an art gallery called The Broad. Tae called Hobi on the way so he could meet the two of you there. As all of you are exploring for pieces that speak to you, you come across a room with a gigantic table and chair set. Of course, the boys needed to take pictures with it.
