Chapter 7: London is Calling

You wake up in the arms of the most perfect man you've ever met. You couldn't be happier until you remember that your life isn't here, in London. How could you possibly make this work with Tae's hectic schedule? You have never really taken another chance on love since the love of your life passed away at a young age. You had closed off your heart and given up on the chance at love and put all of your heart and soul into your job. For the first time, in a long time, you are seriously considering uprooting your entire life and opening your heart completely for this man. You lay on Tae's chest, watching him sleep so peacefully and are just getting lost in your thoughts and his stunning good looks. You don't want to wake him because he's probably still exhausted but you need to talk before he has to leave you for rehearsal. You don't want to startle him, so you gently run your fingers from Tae's stomach up to his chest. Tae gently grabs your hand and moves it to his waist to pull you in for an embrace. He kisses your forehead and says "I'm awake, babe. Let's get ready and go get some breakfast and talk." You silently nod in agreement and slip out of bed to start getting ready. You can't help but watch Tae get out of bed to get ready because he is gorgeous even when he's half asleep and rubbing his eyes. You snap out of your fixation on watching Tae when you hear movement in the hallway. You quickly throw your clothes on just in case someone would enter the room. When you are both dressed and leave the room, you encounter a half asleep Yoongi shuffling towards the bathroom. You receive a small grunt and a what's up from him as he shuffles past you. Hope and your best friend are still asleep. You and Tae quietly slip out without disturbing them, but you can't wait for details on their night.
Tae and you stroll quietly hand-in-hand down the boulevard, taking in the crisp morning air, until you reach your cafe.
"Let's talk here. This has become the most special place in London for me because of meeting you." he states.
You smile and remind him that this cafe has always been your special place but has been elevated to a whole new meaning because of him.
You talk the entire time over breakfast, trying to figure out exactly how you'll be able to make your relationship work. You've tried the long distance thing in the past and that was a joke, so that was out of the question. You can't live with him because of the other members and the constant filming. So what now? "I want you to quit your job. I know you love it, but I also know that you have been under a lot of stress because of it. I want you to be free to live your life and fly around the world with me. I want to take care of you and I want to call London home. Before I fly out in two days, I want to find a flat that we can call our own. I'll take care of everything and you can move in when you're ready. Once you're settled, I will make arrangements to get you a plane ticket on my same flights and I want you at every concert in the front row. We'll have to make sure we don't appear to be together but we will spend every possible moment together. There are plenty of places without cameras and the risk of getting caught. Sneaking around could actually be a lot of fun. Even though we can't let on that we're together, I'm going to wear one earring and have you wear the matching earring at every show because you're my girl. So...what do you think? Will you take this journey with me?" Tae concludes.
You are so hesitant because you've always been so independent, but you've only ever had a love like this once before and can't possibly turn your back on it.
"I'm in! I would go to the moon and back for you. I still can't believe how quickly all of this is happening but I don't ever want it to end. You are my whole youniverse. I love you, Tae." you say with the biggest smile on your face.
"I love you more." he says.
"I love you most." you say and plant the biggest kiss on him. "Let's finish up here, stroll around for a bit and take some pictures since I promised, and then head back to Hope's place for some fun before your rehearsal." you suggest.
After breakfast, Tae captures so many pictures of you and London. "I don't want to forget any of this while we're apart." he says.
"Me either." you reply while quickly snapping a few candid shots of Tae before getting caught again.
