Chapter 31: A Day Off

The Throuple's Day Off
The next morning while eating breakfast, your bestie can't help herself...she has to know what Yoongi whispered.
He is sitting quietly, sipping on his coffee and scrolling through social media posts.
She's dying to know the answer, so she breaks the silence.
"So what was that shit you whispered in my ear yesterday?!" she asks Yoongi.
"I have no idea what you're talking about, babe" he replies in a somewhat cocky tone.
She smirks and keeps pressing the issue. "Yeah...ok! So you're telling me that you didn't whisper "Suga" in my ear as we were having sex yesterday?"
"Damn it! Ok...you caught me! I didn't think you'd hear that but I do that sometimes when I'm nervous. That's why I needed you to help me work out some of the nerves before the interview" he says as his face flushes from complete embarrassment.
"Aww...that is the cutest, weirdest, and hottest thing ever!" she smiles.
"And this is why I love you. No matter what stupid shit I do, you find a way to make me feel good about myself. Until you, I never would have opened up about any of my insecurities" he tells her.
Before she has a chance to say that she loves him too, Hobi bursts in the door.
"Hey lovers! I have great news!" he says and plops down in an empty chair next to them. "I finally got to speak with Bang this morning. He seemed a little shocked about our relationship at first but wasn't weirded out at all. He fully supports us because we've found love and happiness. He said that's what this life is all about and that if anyone deserves love, it's his Bangtan boys" Hobi rambles with excitement.
"He said that we can break the news however we feel comfortable telling the world. We could just get caught out in public or he could hold a press conference or whatever...it's completely up to us. So...what do you think is best, Mr. Min?"
"Why are you being so formal all of a sudden?!" Yoongi questions.
"You're running this show, boss! I'm ready whenever you are but I want you to be comfortable, so I'll let you make the final decision" Hobi adds.
"Umm...I guess we could do a Dispatch exclusive. That's where we'd end up anyway, so let's avoid any rumors getting started and just give them the truth. After we reveal our relationship, maybe Tae will finally be able to open up about his. He's been dying to tell ARMY about his little family. He wears his wedding ring on every VLive lately" Yoongi says, confident in his decision.
"I'll work with Bang to get everything set up. I'm going to do it right now. What a great day off!" Hobi says excitedly and then kisses them both goodbye.
Not long after leaving, Hobi calls Yoongi.
"Get over to Bang's suite right away. We're doing this!" Hobi says and hangs up.
Your bestie and Yoongi quickly get dressed and head over to meet with Bang. Bang greets both of them with a hug and tells them that he's so happy for the three of them.
"So...how are we doing this?" Yoongi questions.
Bang tells them that they are doing a live video conference with Dispatch. Bang explains that he will take the lead and express his love and support before the throuple has to field any questions. He tells them to take a moment to gather their thoughts and lets them know not to be nervous. He reassures them that true ARMY will support them no matter what and that's what is most important. Yoongi flashes a gummy smile, grabs Hobi and your bestie's hands and says, "let's do this!"
After the interview is over and everything is out in the open, they return to their hotel room and enjoy each other in new and exciting ways.

The Kim's Day Off
Since the boys have the day off and are still in LA, you and Tae decide to rent a convertible sports car to drive up The Pacific Coast Highway towards Santa Monica. Tae has a security detail follow behind, but not too close because he wants to feel like normal newlyweds for once.
As soon as you get out of the city, Tae puts the top down, cranks up the tunes, and serenades you up the coast.
The view of Tae with the wind blowing through his wavy hair is breathtaking and, the scenery isn't bad either. On one side of the winding coastal highway, there is the gorgeous beach and on the other side are the multi-million dollar celebrity homes.
Tae pulls over and parks at a gated home that looks like a mansion. He turns to you and says, "wanna have some fun?" with a playful look in his eyes.
"Always! But what did you have in mind?" you ask.
"There's an open house at that gorgeous home over there. Let's take a tour and find somewhere to be naughty. If anyone thinks they recognize me, I'll just laugh and tell them that I get that a lot. I just want to feel normal today and enjoy this beautiful day with my beautiful wife. What do you think?!" he smiles.
"Let's do it!" you giggle and hop out of the car.
When you approach the door to the mansion, a very nice realtor is there to greet you outside. She welcomes you and tells you to take your time exploring and to let her know if you have any questions. She lets you know that she'll be staying outside to greet other potential buyers.
"Perfect!" Tae says. He unexpectedly sweeps you off your feet and carries you over the threshold.
"Tae! What are you doing?!" you squeal with laughter.
"American tradition of carrying my beautiful new bride over the threshold. Isn't that obvious?" he responds.
"Yes, but babe, you're only supposed to do that at our home" you tell him, assuming he doesn't completely understand the old tradition.
"Welcome home, Mrs. Kim" he says and plants a kiss on you.
"What?!" you ask in shock.
"Welcome home! If you don't like it, we can get a different house. I came across this one when I was hanging out with my friend after his win at the SAG awards. It's perfect! Your favorite number is 15, right?" he asks.
"You know that it is" you respond with a puzzled look on your face.
"Well...the address is 1515. It has 15 rooms and it took me about 15 minutes to realize that it would be perfect to have a home here too since we do so much work here. I'd also love to get a place in South Korea, so we can be near my family too. What do you think?" Tae asks with a nervous smile as he awaits your response.
"What do I think?! I think you are perfect! I think I'm the luckiest woman in the entire world and still feel like I'm living in a dream at times. I think...yes...yes, it's perfect! You're perfect! You are so thoughtful and think of the smallest details. I love you more than anything" you say and throw yourself into Tae's arms.
"I love you too. I'm living in a dream because of you. I've never been happier. Alright...are you ready to see your new home, Mrs. Kim?" Tae asks.
"Absolutely, Mr. Kim! Wait...what about the realtor?" you ask.
"She should be gone by now. She's actually the neighbor. I just paid her to be here until we arrived so it looked like an open house" he smirks.
"You are so unbelievable, thoughtful, and sneaky" you tease.
"Yeah and that's why you love me" he smiles. "Are you ready to bless some of the rooms?" he winks.
"Some of them? We're going to bless all of them" you say and run your hands down the front of his pants.
"Let me start us off in our master bathroom shower. I know how you love your water pressure" Tae smiles.
"Perfect! We are definitely going to need to test some pressure. You know the safe word" you reply with a wink.

NamJin and Jikook's Day Off
"Joonie...you need to take a break. You shouldn't be working so much on your days off. I want to take you somewhere" Jin insists.
"Alright. Alright. How can I say no to that face?" Joon caves.
They immediately head out and drive for a bit until they arrive at dock full of boats.
"What are we doing here, Jin?" Joon asks.
"We're going to relax, babe. Fishing, drinking, eating, dancing under the stars after the sun sets...care to join me?" Jin says as he extends his hand to Joon.
"You make it hard to say no when you're standing there looking so good. Let's do this!" Joon replies.
"Maybe this day will inspire you to write a song about me" Jin winks .
"How do you know I haven't already written one?" Joon winks back.
Jin blushes as they step aboard the boat that Jin rented for the day.
"Meet Captain Kookie and his best mate, Jiminssi!" Jin says to Joon as they are greeted by Jikook on the boat.
Joon laughs as soon as he's greeted by the familiar faces, wearing their sailing outfits from many photoshoots ago.
"Welcome to an official day off, Joonie! Enjoy yourself!" Jin smiles and gives him a kiss.
The four of them end up spending the day doing everything Jin planned. They fished and prepared their own dinner from their catch of the day. Of course Jin brought steak for Joon since he hates seafood. They drank and laughed as they watched the sun set. In the evening, they danced under the stars and got lost in music and each other...Jikook too.
