Chapter 15: Dinner with Friends

The day has finally come where you are all going to be in the same place at the same time with Namjoon, and Jin too. Tae has carefully planned the entire night out and prepped everyone in advance to keep all of the relationships hidden in plain sight. Now is the perfect time because the boys will soon be getting ready to leave for filming in New Zealand. You are all one step closer to outing all of your relationships to Namjoon, but it's not time yet. Tonight is just about having fun and getting to know Namjoon and Jin and praying that they like you and your friends.
You and your girls walk into the bar knowing full well who you are going to see sitting there. Each of you dressed to the nines to turn heads. Every time you and your girls go out, you all end up leaving with several numbers, so this will be helpful to dodge any suspicions.
As soon as you walk in and head towards the bar, all of you are greeted with some very familiar smiles. A beautiful boxy smile, a gummy smile, a smile that can light up any room, beautiful eye smiles, and the cutest bunny smile. The smiles are very quick so that a certain someone doesn't take notice.
Namjoon notices all of you and turns to Tae and Sope and says, "hey... aren't those your biggest fans from the airport?"
"Oh yeah...I think so." Yoongi says.
Hobi immediately chimes in with "you should invite them over for some drinks, especially if they're your biggest fans."
Namjoon seems very hesitant at first and cautions everyone. "I don't know if that's a great idea, guys. You know how the press can blow everything out of proportion. You remember how it was when JK got tattoos and was hanging out with the tattoo artist. That sucked"
"Don't worry, Hyung. We're big boys and we can handle the heat. Let's just have some fun tonight. They are really nice girls." Tae insists.
"Oh...ok. Let's do it." Joon finally caves.
Tae comes over to greet you and invite you over to have some drinks with them. He reminds your friend to keep cool since this is her first time seeing all of the boys in person. Two of you have at least met Namjoon once and seen Jin on stage.
You are warmly greeted by all of the members. Tae pulls a chair out for you. Hobi pulls a chair out for your bestie and Jimin pulls a chair out for your friend.
"Such gentleman!" your bestie comments.
Namjoon laughs "Ha! Get to know them a little better and you'll be singing a different tune" he jokes.
Yoongi whispers to your bestie "Singing? Ha! I'll get you screaming instead, baby."
She gives him a kick underneath the table as a reminder to behave himself.
"Drinks are on me!" Namjoon announces. "It's so nice to spend some quality time with our ARMY."
Everything is going according to plan. Everyone is getting along very well and enjoying each other's company.
After a few drinks, Joon surprises everyone by saying "it's too bad that our contract doesn't allow us to date publicly because there are definitely some matches made in heaven at this table."
"It really is too bad." Tae agrees.
"Yeah. The girls might even have a friend for you Namjoon Hyung". JK adds.
"You guys don't have to worry about me. I'd be happy just seeing you happy. Besides, I'll always have my drinking buddy to keep me company." Joon responds.
"Well it's too bad we can't date publicly." Jin says. "They never said anything about hooking up off camera though. I'm pretty sure we've all done that a time or two." Jin continues. "We just have to appear single for ARMY."
"Woah! I'm really surprised to hear that from you, Hyung." Jimin says in shock. "I think maybe you've had a bit too much to drink because you're talking crazy now" Jimin teases Jin.
"Yeah! You and Namjoon Hyung are the last two I'd ever expect to be hooking up with people off camera...especially, Namjoon! He's such a stickler for the rules." JK declares.
"Yes. You're right. I do follow the rules because we are under contract. But...rules are made to be broken sometimes, or bent, at the very least." Namjoon addresses JK's comment.
Everyone at the table is in a bit of shock with the conversation. They always say that alcohol brings out the truth. Maybe Namjoon isn't as big of a stickler with the rules as you all had thought.
Yoongi immediately follows Namjoon's comment with, "if that's the case, I'm taking this hottie home tonight" he says as he winks at your bestie. "Like Jin said...as long as it's off camera." Yoongi smirks.
"Just be smart, man." Namjoon cautions. "If you're going to do this, you absolutely cannot get caught on camera. We can't risk losing our contract. And just remember what happened to that poor tattoo artist."
"Don't worry, Joon. I'll make sure he doesn't screw things up for us. I'll be on them like white on rice so they don't get into trouble." Hobi says as he winks at your bestie and Yoongi.
"Love is in the air." Jimin says with a smile.
"Love?! Who said anything about love?!" Namjoon says.
"That's all you ever sing about Namjoon-ah!" Jimin teases.
"Ha! Oh Jiminie...you are such a romantic" Joon teases back. "Just have fun tonight, but be careful. Be very careful." he adds.
Tae extends his hand to you. "Care to join me tonight?" he says.
You just smile at him and reply "How could I ever say no to you? I'm your biggest fan after all."
Jungkook jumps into the conversation before everyone goes their separate ways for the night. "Do any of you girls have a friend for Jin or Namjoon?"
Tae scolds Jungkook "Honorifics, brat!"
"Sorry, sorry. I'm just trying to get some love for my hyungs." JK adds.
"Seriously, guys...you don't have to worry about me finding love. Just worry about yourselves." Joon insists.
"If you insist, Hyung" JK replies. "Well, Jiminssi and I are off to do laundry and we're taking her with us." JK says and points to your friend with a smile.
"Have fun, everyone!" Jin shouts.
"And be careful!" Joon adds.
"Wow! That went so much better than I ever expected." Tae says to you as you head towards home. "Joon is more of a romantic than I thought so maybe we'll be able to tell him about us sooner than I thought." he smiles and then pulls you in for a passionate kiss.
"Thank goodness these car windows are tinted or else you could have blown our cover." you tease Tae and then plant a passionate kiss on him. "I can't wait for the day when I can kiss you in public whenever I want." you tell him.
"One day, babe. One day. Until then, you can have all my kisses anywhere else and anytime you want." he replies.
"I want all of them tonight since you're flying out in a few days " you tell him.
"They are all yours, babe. Tonight and for the rest of our lives."
"That almost sounded like a proposal" you tease.
"Keep your ring finger open because you never know." Tae smiles.
Overjoyed at Tae's comment, you steal kisses the rest of the way home.
