Chapter 31

Hunter has always a way of finding me but now that he's gone, I don't know where I should look for him. I tried calling him so many times pero hindi nya sinasagot ang tawag ko! It really proves that he's mad at me and I know that he misinterpreted what he saw earlier!

What is he doing here anyway? I thought na later evening pa kami magkikita but it's only half after four o'clock in the afternoon! But I'm happy that he's here early pero sya ay mukhang hindi yata masaya dahil sa dinatnan nya kanina.

I wish I have his ability to find people. Sya kasi ang madalas na nilalapitan ng mga kapatid ko kapag may ipinapahanap sila so I assume that he really has his ways of finding someone. Kaya siguro palagi nya akong nahahanap kung nasaan man ako.

I looked all over the mall but I didn't see him. I went to the parking lot and saw that his Aston Martini Vanquish convertible is still here. I don't know what I should do. Should I wait for him here or should I start looking again? But what if bukas pa sya bumalik? What if he'll leave me while I'm still looking around the mall? Edi nagmukha akong ewan na naghahanap sa wala.

But I knew that Hunter wouldn't do that. I don't know how but I have this feeling that he will not leave me. Kahit saan pa. He's chasing me nga, eh. Sya ang humahabol sa akin kaya hindi nya ako iiwan.

I decided to left a note na lang saying that he should wait for me. Iniipit ko ang note sa windshield bago pumasok ulit sa loob ng mall.

I'm getting tired na while walking and looking around but I will not give up. I need to talk to him and explain to him what he saw earlier. Alam kong nagseselos sya. I am not that dumb not to know that. Kahit sino sigurong boyfriend na makakakita sa girlfriend nyang nakahawak ang kamay sa ex-boyfriend ay talagang may maiisip na hindi maganda.

It's useless finding him in this big mall with a lot of people walking around! Hindi na rin kayang maglakad pa ng mga paa ko. I am freaking tired! But I still need to find Hunter and talk to him.

Suddenly, an idea came into my mind. The heck, it's a crazy idea but I don't care about anything now as long as I can find Hunter!

No, I will never get tired making an effort to my love ones. As long as they won't betray me, I'm willing to give them everything. And Hunter is not an exemption.

I appoach with a smile the girl in a corporate wear who's sitting behind the information desk. She smiled back when I stopped in front of her.

"Hi! Can you make an announcement? I'm looking for someone." nakangiti pa ako but I'm actually nervous that she might reject me.

"Of course, Ma'am. Sino po ba ang nawawala?" she asked while typing something on the computer.

"Uhm..." baka kapag sinabi ko ang totoo ay hindi nya gawin. "It's my c-child."

"Ano pong suot nya pati kulay? At saan nyo po huling nakita? I need the information, Ma'am, to make the announcement clear."

I bit my lower lip. This is a bad idea pala! I need to think of something.

"Can I make the announcement instead? Hindi kasi nakikinig 'yung anak ko kahit kanino. I'll tell him na sumama sa guard so they can take him here." nakita ko ang alanganing mukha ng babae.

I took out my wallet out of my bag. Kinuha ko ang I.D. ko from GE Airlines and showed it to the girl.

"I'm actually a pilot from GE Airlines so I know how to make a proper announcement. Hindi talaga nakikinig yung anak ko kahit kanino. He'll recognized my voice so can I be the one who'll make the announcement, please?"

I don't usually do this kind of things. Ang pinaka-ayoko ay ang power tripping but I had no other choice! I just really have to find Hunter and doing it this way is faster!
