When it was time to go home I fixed my things. Ayoko nang mahila ulit pababa ng building. Isa pa pwede ko na ituloy bukas yung mga trabaho na naiwan.
I'm just waiting for him to ask me to go already pero mukhang wala siyang balak tumayo? He's just staring at his phone in a serious mode so I decided to go out my office.
"Are we eating or I'll just head home?" Bungad ko sa kanya that made him look at me.
"Hahahahaha mainipin mo naman Trina"
"What?"
"Saglit lang madam chinecheck ko lang kaperahan ko hahahahaha"
"Why?"
"Aba syempre kailangan ko mag-ipon. Wala naman akong kumpanya kagaya mo haha"
"You're a credible engineer madali ka makakaipon"
"Wow credible na ko for you? Achievement yon ah?"
"In a span of two days I saw your work and they're better than those before you so yeah"
"Wow thanks for that"
We had some silent moments at kung kelan naman tahimik saka naman tumunog yung tyan ko. Napakagat labi na lang ako. Really now?!
"Hahahahaha you really are hungry"
"No?? Nagsnack naman ako kanina before lunch"
"What the?! Before lunch?! Kumain ka ba after that?"
Umiling ako
"Kaya di ka tumataba eh"
"Hindi naman ako nagutom kasi! There are lots of works to do as well!"
"Tch whatever Trina. Let's go"
We went to the night market like yesterday. We ate there and talked about some things as well. Hinatid naman niya ulit ako sa condo ko.
"So??"
"What?"
"Did I succeed in making you smile for today?"
I smiled at him before heading inside the building
"Wait?! Did you just smile at me?!"
I immediately did a poker face before facing him
"No?"
"You did! I saw it!!"
"Whatever. Goodnight!!" I said without looking at him, still smiling
Kokoy's PoV
Fck that was a beautiful one. I was lost for a moment with that smile. Napangiti ko si Trina!!!
Trina's PoV
Hanggang sa pag-akyat ko ng unit ko ramdam ko yung ngiti sa labi ko. Wala namang nakakakita so whatever haha.
Kaso pagpasok ko ng unit dun nawala ang ngiti ko
"How's my lovely daughter??"
"Ma"
"Oh?? Nakangiti ka pa kanina ah?? What happened?? Not happy to see me?"
As if I'd be happy
"What do you need?"
"Nothing. Binibisita lang naman kita"
"Tss. Never did you even care about me. Sa tingin mo maniniwala ako?"
"Ang pait naman non"
"Whatever ma. Just tell me what you want"
"Fine. Give me money"
"Nasan na yung pera mo??"
"Hmmmm"
"Ohh let me guess? Natalo sa sugal?"
"Ohh how bright of you! Pano mo nahulaan yon? Hihi"
"Stop this nonsense. Just leave"
"Bigyan mo muna ako ng pera. I need to go meet my amigas"
"I don't fcking care about your amigas ma!"
And there, I was slapped in the face.
"Baka gusto mo pang pantayin ma? Tss."
And as always. She did.
"You don't need to inform me, useless brat"
"Useless huh? Then don't get money from me or MY company"
"Nasan ang pera mo ha?! Nasan?!"
She always does this so hindi na bago. Kaya hindi na din ako nagwwithdraw. And my cards are always hidden somewhere only I know. Kung magwwithdraw man ako sapat lang para sa isang araw.
"Go on. Search all over the place"
"Ugh!! Nasan ang pera mo?!"
"Ma! Baliw ka na!!"
"I'm not!!"
"You are crazy"
"No!"
"Sa ginagawa mong yan? Yes you are!"
"Ahhh!!" She pushed me while shouting that made me hit my head to the table
"Walang kwenta!" Then she ran off. Fck it.
I just sat there hugging my knees not minding that I actually got slapped both sides of my face and head hitting the table. I'm fine. Yes, I am.
