I'm really losing it.

Out of all people, I had to like Kim Sehyoon.

Why does the universe hate me so much? I've done nothing wrong...

Except that one time in kindergarten when I cut that girl's hair because it was invading my desk... but I'm a good person!

I sighed as I looked at myself in the mirror. I've been ignoring it for months, but I can't take it anymore.

I hate to admit it, but I like Sehyoon.

And I like him a whole fucking lot.

I took off my contacts and began washing my face. Thoughts invaded my head throughout the process and made me spill soap in my eye. Great.

I finally got the soap all washed out and dried my face. I french-braided my hair only at the top and got out of the bathroom.

I screamed loudly when I saw Chan laying on my bed. How the fuck did he get up here and I didn't notice?

"Dude, chill." He said, sitting up and facing me.

"How the fuck did you get up here? I didn't even hear you!" I sighed as I placed my hand over my chest, feeling my fast heartbeat.

"I need to talk to you." He replied and patted the spot next to him. I rolled my eyes and sat next to him, waiting for him to start. "I know you like Sehyoon."

"What? No, I don't." I replied quickly. I can't be that obvious, right?

"Kwan... you can talk to me. I won't scold at you, okay?" He said, looking at me with the most serious expression ever. I've never seen Chan so serious before.

I sighed before replying. "Okay... I may find him attractive."

"Now tell me the whole truth." He smiled cheekily at me. Asshole.

"Fine, I like him a lot, Chan... I know I shouldn't, but he's a nice person when he isn't around his friends. What do I do?" I admitted it. I admitted I like Sehyoon aloud so I can't take it back now.

"I think you should give it a shot." Chan replied, surprising me.

"I thought you hated Sehyoon. Are you feeling okay?" I placed the back of my hand against his forehead and he laughed.

"I'm fine. Look, I know I said he was a player and he is... but I've noticed some things since the party." He replied, moving my hand away.

"What things?" I asked a bit worried.

"There hasn't been any rumors of him since the party. Usually, I would hear someone new talk about their experience with him every single day, but I've heard nothing since you two almost... you know." He explained and I nodded to assure him I was listening. "Also, I talked to him and he said he doesn't want just sex anymore. He likes you, Kwan." He finished.

I stared at Chan for a bit to see if he was just pulling my leg, but he was so serious. He couldn't be lying. Sehyoon... likes me?

"What if it's all an act?" I asked quietly and looked down.

"If it was I would've noticed." Chan smiles slightly. I looked at him confused. "You know how I can tell when you're lying? Well, I used that technique on him too and he was serious. He really does like you. If he didn't, I wouldn't be telling you to go for it." He explained. I smiled and hugged him tightly.

"Thanks, Chan." I said quietly. I was glad he understood. He always did, but Chan's opinion was the other one I really cared about. He was my best friend after all.

"Of course, Kwan. I told you, you can always count on me." He replied and hugged me back tightly, making me smile.

The next Monday at school, my mind was made up. I was going to give Sehyoon a chance. I might regret it or I might not. Who knew?

I made my way to the player's table and without saying anything, I grabbed Sehyoon's hand and dragged him out of the cafeteria. He didn't say anything, just followed me until I stopped near some lockers. He looked at me, obviously confused.

"I'll give you one chance." I said, crossing my arms.

"What made you change your mind?" He asked, not breaking eye contact with me.

"You think Chan wouldn't tell me what you guys talked about?" I rolled my eyes and offered him a small smile. He looked taken aback at first, but smiled back.

"So, you like me too?" I nodded, a bit embarrassed to admit it. "Was it the gifts?"

"That was you?" My eyes widened slightly as he nodded.

"Of course it was." He chuckled.

"No, it wasn't the gifts... it was our hang out at the mall. You're not the same person you are around your friend when you're with me." I stated. He scratched the back of his neck slightly and gave me a small smile. Fuck, why is he being so damn cute?

"Byeongkwan, will you go out on a date with me?" He asked shyly. I've never seen him like this before. Is he really the person everyone thinks he is?

I smiled. "Yes, Sehyoon. I'd love to."

Then, without warning, he cupped my face in his hands and kissed me. It wasn't our usual heated kisses, though. This one was slow and sweet like cotton candy. I kissed him back and I felt him smile against my lips before pulling back.

"How does Friday at 6:00 pm sound? I'll pick you up." He asked and I nodded, making him smile. "Can't wait, Cherry boy."

"You just had to ruin it." I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"It's Cherry boy for you." He replied, mimicking what I had said when I slapped him last semester. I hit his arm and he laughed loudly.

"Shut up." I smiled. "Friday at 6:00pm. Don't be late or you're going alone."

He chuckled. "Wouldn't dream of it."
