Ned Stark and his niece made their way toward the King's chamber to discuss new information that had just been revealed. After Yoren explained he had been traveling with Tyrion Lannister and arrived in Winterfell only to be met with an boorish welcome. The Lannister has decide to find a room in a local tavern when he had came across Lady Catelyn Stark. She had accused the little lion of attempting to assassinate Bran, being as Tyrion's blade was the weapon. Viserra was surprised to learn her aunt was in King's Landing secretly just before. She missed her warm smile.

"What do we say?" Viserra asked as they crossed the courtyard leading to the Red Keep.

"The truth." Ned answered in as little words as possible. Littlefinger had revealed that the city has ears everywhere and should be wary of lurking ears and eyes. Before Viserra could respond someone had called for Ned.

"Lord Stark" a member of the court approached the pair. "And Lady Stark, your presence has been requested in the small council chamber, a meeting has been called."

"I need to see the king first" Ned walked past the man. "Alone"

"The king is at the small council meeting my lord and lady, he has summoned you." The man sneered.

"Is it about my wife?" Viserra watched as worry flashed across her uncle's face.

"No my lord, I believe it concerns Daenerys Targaryen." Feeling slightly relieved, Ned relaxed as Viserra tensed at the mention of her aunt Daenerys. It was well know that King Robert never attended a small council meeting and rather avoided it like the plague. The two shared a look of concern as they change their direction and headed toward the small council chambers.

"The whore is pregnant..." king Robert's words dropped of distain and rage.

"You're speaking of murdering a child." Ned tried to reason with the king.

"I warned you this would happen, back in the North." The king continued to fume. "I warned you and you didn't care to hear it. Well hear it now." Robert paused and looked over to the young girl at Neds side.

"You call yourself a king but cower at an unborn child thousand miles away." Viserra matched his intensity. She had only known of their existence only a few days ago, but felt the fierce need to protect her mother's remaining family.

"Careful who you speak to girl." Robert scowled at her.

"I'm speaking to a king." Viserra spoke in a strong tone. She approached the table in the middle of the room and starting to close the distance. "You are King Robert of the house Baratheon and ruler of the Seven Kingdoms." Her hand placed firmly on the table and leaned forward. "A king does not fear a child. The man who fears a child, is a child himself." The room stood still. Ned watched his niece and best friend at opposing sides. Viserra was never the one to back away from protecting her family.

"I want 'em dead, mother and child both." The king's grievous tone caused Ned to stand next to his niece. "And that fool Viserys as well." Robert narrowed his gaze to Ned. "Is that plain enough for you? I want them both dead."

"You will dishonor yourself forever if you do this." Ned accused.

"Honor?! I've got seven kingdoms to rule! One king, seven kingdoms. Do you think honor keeps them in line? Do you think it's honor that's keeping the peace? It's fear fear and blood." Robert amplified.

"Then you're no better than the Mad King." Viserra's word stunned the room. She carried no love for the man who was her grandfather. The Mad King was the one who robbed her of her parents. She was grateful the monster was no longer part of this life.
