"I was sorry to hear the news of Prince Doran" Tywin had offered the pair wine, and returned to his seat at the head of the table now that Viserra and Oberyn joined him.
"Yes as you can assume we are eager to return to his side" Viserra looked over to Oberyn and gripped his hand tightly.
"Could we also assume you will not be Tyrion's champion then?" Cersei stood at her father's side with a pleased look on her face.
"Yes" Oberyn answered. "Unless you are willing to wait for my return"
"No" Cersei snapped before taking a long drink from her cup.
"It is alright, Tyrion will either have to find a new champion or face the Mountain himself" Tywin spoke and Viserra glanced over to Oberyn. The slight tensing of his jaw showed his annoyance.
"The Mountain is here?" Oberyn asked.
"He arrived just this afternoon" Cersei answered proudly. Viserra gripped Oberyn's hand tighter.
"You would have Tyrion face him then?" Viserra asked Tywin.
"Tyrion was the one that requested a trial by combat" Tywin leaned back in his seat. "He must face his choices"
"You mean his death" Viserra answered lightly.
"What do you care if he dies?" Cersei eyed Viserra. "He committed regicide. Along with his petulant little wi-"
"Be" Viserra interrupted loudly. "careful of how you finish that sentence" the two women glared at each other. "Someone might take it as an opportunity to discuss the King's own character"
"They killed my son" her words slurring slightly. "The King"
"Cersei" Tywin warned.
"That has yet to be determined being as the trial is not over" Oberyn smugly added. "He still can win his innocence"
"That's a joke" Cersei pointed her finger from the hand that held her cup. "You are funny Prince Oberyn"
"And you are drunk, Lady Cersei" Oberyn smiled as Cersei scoffed and opened her mouth to comment.
"We came tonight to ask for a strange request" Viserra shifted the conversation.
"And that is?" Tywin answered but eyed his daughter who was growing belligerent by the minute.
"What do you want?" Cersei slammed her cup on the table splashing Tywin with wine.
"Perhaps you should retire to your room" Tywin turned his attention to Cersei as he wiped the splattered wine from his face.
"I want to hear what they want first" Cersei rather ungracefully pulled out the chair and sat down.
"Your father is right" Viserra tilted her head toward Cersei. "Perhaps you should lie down, the wine seems to be getting to you."
"Oh" Cersei gaffed. "and you would know all about lying down wouldn't you?" Cersei raised her sculpted brow.
"Cersei" Tywin warned.
"What do you mean lady Cersei?" Viserra's interested was peaked.
"Cersei" Tywin warned again, but Cersei did not stop.
"What I mean is that you are married but you lie with your husband's brother" she said proudly. Viserra and Oberyn shared a look.
"My brother and I have many shared interests" Oberyn shrugged and intertwined his fingers with Viserra's and kissed the back of her hand.
