A Week Later
Monday
Finn's POV

I was sitting in English class with Gaten, Caleb and Noah. I guess it's the only class that consists of my entire group. Including Millie's. I swear, I don't like thinking about her at all. It just brings back terrible memories that I wish I could forget.
Mrs Buono left the class to get us some worksheets for an upcoming assignment. I hated senior year already, how on earth would I survive?

"So Finnlard." Caleb whispered. "Yes chocolate daddy?" I repsond. "I'm ready to use my perfectly constructed contraption." He showcased his overrated weapon. "You and that damn slingshot I swear." I chuckled. "It works wonders watch." He says aiming. I took out my book from my bag since I never work in this god forsaken class and gave him.

He tore a page out my book and rolled it up. He put the paper in his mouth and took it out devoured in saliva. "That's disgusting bro." Gaten said. Caleb aimed and fired it at Millie. Only god knew what would happen next.

"You so fucking immature!" Millie screamed at the top of her lungs. The boys and I laughed out loud. "Sorry it kinda slipped." I told her. She stood up and came to my table just before the bell rang for the end of the period. All the other kids left the class except the girls and my boys. We remained in class when we were supposed to be at lunch.

Millie was still trying to chew my ear off when Caleb put his slingshot away and started using pen cases to start shooting more spitballs. Sadie immediately did the same thing which was kind of odd, how could she have predicted that Caleb would pull off such. Not long after that the girls and the boys were involved in an all out war. Millie, Sadie and Lexi versus Me, Caleb, Gaten and Noah. Spitballs being fired from each side of the class as some of us took cover behind certain desks.

I stopped spitting once I realized what mess we made in the classroom. I went out of cover and convinced everyone to stop. Of course this effort got me hit so many times, especially in the face. "Look around us. The class is a bloody mess. What the hell's going to happen when Mrs Buono comes back!" I shout. "He's right, we'll all get after school detention and I'm not about that life." Millie responded.

"Quick, try and clean as much as you can." Gaten lifts up the desk next to him. Everybody did the same but it was too late as Mrs Buono walked in her classroom.
"What in God's name happened here?" She dropped all the worksheets that she held in her hands. "It was like this when we got here." Caleb answered with the most unconvincing smile ever.

She picked up one of the spitballs from the floor and started to understand the cause of the state of her once beloved classroom. "All of you are getting detention after school For one month!" She raised her voice before all of us left her classroom.

"Thanks a lot Finn." Millie said flatly. "Hey, it wasn't my fault. Caleb's the one who started everything. If it wasn't for your stupid contraption, we wouldn't be stuck in this mess in the first place." I pointed to him.
"Some of us have never been to detention before." Noah hid his tears. "Yeah, our parents are going to kill us." Lexi complained.

"Ok I get it. For the last time it's not my fucking fault!" I raised my voice. "Ok calm down bro, I'm sorry." Caleb touched me. I pushed him away and Sadie caught him. "Hey asshole I don't know what's wrong with you, he said he's sorry." Sadie spoke. "Are you two hooking up or something?" I asked her harshly. Caleb immediately pushed me against the wall. "Look bro you can say all kinds of shit about me but once you start involving Sadie, we're going to have a problem." He threatened.

"Hey! stop being harsh on him." Millie came to my aid. Caleb let go and went to stand next to Sadie. Luckily the hallways were empty and no one else saw us fighting. I started walking away before Millie stopped me. "Finn wait..." I didn't want to her any of it. "No Millie. I'm so sorry that you guys still think it's my fault even after Caleb admitted that he started this. I'll see you all after school." I say as I start walking off.
