Millie's POV

I was spending the night alone. My dad's at the station, working like every other night and my mom's away at some business conference for the week. My little sister, Ava's at our grandmother's since I have school during the day and my older sister, well let's just say Paige is out there living her best life.

Things normally get boring around here. I have no idea why I still obey my father's rules even when he's never around. I'm not allowed to leave the house at night when nobody's at home. How dumb is that? I could just go out and return without him even knowing. Lord I beg you please, give me a reason to go out tonight.

I walked downstairs and turned on the tv just as there was a knock on the door. I rushed to open door and... holy shit, who would have thought. The great Finn Wolfhard, standing on my doorstep. "Hi Millie." His eyes never leaving mine. "What's up Finn?" I say trying to act cool. Why am I trying to act cool. It's not like I have a crush on him or anything.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I let him in. He gladly accepts my invitation. "I wanted to see you. I know our friends are getting along now so why can't we?" He made a point. "I've been trying with you Finnlard, you just don't give in." I joked. "Did you just call me Finnlard?" he chuckled. "I didn't even realize." I toy with him. "I'll let it slide this one time. Hey, do you want to go out?" He finally pops the question I've been waiting for.

"Sure. Let me go get my jacket, I'll be right back." I quickly run up the stairs. The lord has already accepted my request, it hasn't even been five minutes. I eventually lock the door and walk to the road with Finn until he stops. He picks up a bike which I'm suggesting belongs to him and climbs on.

"Come on Mills hop on." He instructs. "On that deathtrap? With pleasure." I say before getting on. I'm not a fan of bikes. I once sustained a scar on my left hip because of those things. After that, I've never ridden a bike again. As Finn starts riding down the street, I cling onto him tight.

"So where are we going!?" I shout due to the amount of wind blowing in the opposite direction of our current trajectory. "It's a suprise and don't worry. You don't need money!" He answered. Oh boy, my night is about to get really interesting.

Meanwhile at Hawkins Mall
Caleb's POV

We were arguing whether we should start at the food court or start by the movies. We wasted thirty minutes of our time on this and I'm starting to get sick of it. Sadie and I stopped talking while the others figured out what to do next.

"Look ladies. It's better to watch a movie first then eat. Only hobos do it the other way around." Gaten complained. "And how on earth do hobos even afford to watch a movie and eat out, huh Gaten?" Lexi laughed. "In my defense Alexis. I didn't think this all the way through" He replied. "Then it's settled. We eating." Lexi cheered. "No we not. Noah has the final say." Now everyone was eagerly waiting for Noah's answer. "I think we should go back to the arcade." He says forcing a howl from everyone.

"Hey Caleb, I need to show you something." Sadie pulls me aside. "You have my attention, my lady." I smile. She opens her phone and shows me a text from Millie.
"No fucking way, They went out together!" I screamed. She nods her head with excitement while I start hugging her.

"I think we make a very compelling partnership Mr. McLaughlin." Sadie said.
"We really do Miss Sink." I agree while staring deep into her majestic ocean blue eyes. I can tell her smile quickly faded as she saw what I was doing. Who knew she would have done the same. I should kiss her, yeah I really should but what's stopping me. Am I falling in love? What the fuck's happening?

"Yo, love birds." Noah calls from afar ruining our moment. "Let's go!" He said. I hid my blush before Sadie and I followed the group.
