The Next Morning
Caleb's POV

I arrived a little late to school and met Sadie by her locker. The hallways were always crowded in the mornings and I craved for some privacy with my girl. Unfortunately, you don't always get what you want in this world.

"Hey." I grabbed her and gave her a quick peck on the lips. "Hey." She blushed. "Mr McLaughlin. No one appreciates any public displays of affection." Miss Ryder said as she walked by. "Sorry ma'am." And that's why she's not married.

"Before I was so rudely interrupted. I was actually wondering if you've seen Finn. I was supposed to meet him about twenty minutes ago"? I asked her. "No I have not. Now that I've think of it. I haven't seen Millie either." She says as she closes her locker.

"Hey guys." Noah joins. "Sup bro, how you doing this fine morning?" I ask now holding Sadie's hand. "I'm fi...wait a minute. I won't talk to you two if you start kissing in front of me. Actually, talking to you love birds right now just feels wrong." Noah said.

I disappointingly let go of Sadie's hand. "You happy now Noah? I'm starting to feel lonely again." I pout and Sadie laughs. "You're still dating!" He starts pulling his hair. Sadie starts looking at a distance not saying another word in our current conversation.

Sadie starts tapping on my arm to gain my intention. She then points to the main doors and you know what? I couldn't believe my eyes. There they were. Millie Bobby Wolf...errr I mean Brown holding Finn Wolfhard's hand. The whole school went crazy. Literally everyone was cheering. I've never seen this school go so ballistic.

It took quite a while for them to reach our spot. I know for a fact that if I was in their position. I'd also want to enjoy the spotlight as much as can. "Sup fella's" Finn greeted alongside Millie. "Well if it isn't everyone's favourite couple." Sadie joked. "Did you see us hype up the whole school?" Millie asked excitedly.

"Yeah we saw you girl. We see ya. I can't wait to see the look on Jacob's face." Sadie answered. "So what's happening here, are you guys going out for real orrr?" Sadie immediately punched my arm to stop me from talking.

"No, we're just fake dating for a few weeks." Millie replied and I could see the look of disappointment on her face. "Fake dating? Yikes." Noah whispered the last part. "Anyways Millie and I have to go. We'll see you guys at lunch." Finn announces before he walks off with Millie.

"Poor girl. She's not doing ok at all." Noah said. "Agreed. Maybe you should talk to her Sadz." I held her hand once again. "You guys are unbelievable." Noah rolls his eyes and walks away. "Hey, you two." Jacob grinned wrapping his arm Sadie.

I can't believe the disrespect that this boy is showing me right now. I was boiling and ready for a fight. My fists started clenching and he saw this. I pushed him off her. "Don't touch her again you sick son of a bitch!" I shouted. "Woah woah woah, relax there buddy I just wanna talk." He raised his hands in defeat before laughing deviously.

"How long have those two been dating?" He asks us. "It's none of your concern Jacob, now fuck off." I answer. "You still mad about what I did to Sadie are you?" He said. My first soon connected with his jaw forcing me to lose his balance. "Touch her again and I'll make sure you'll retire from football." I threatened before walking away with Sadie.

Later during English class. I was going over the rules from The Book of Gaten Matarazzo Presents: The Love Doctor Chronicles. Have no idea why I still read this book for guidance. I couldn't even understand half of these rules, it's so dumb.

"Listen to this." I say to Finn. "Chapter 41. The Hoe always comes before the Bro." I read out. "I've never heard that one before." He replies. Finn and I decide to turn around and ask Mr Matarazzo a very burning question. "Gaten. I've read this book so many times over the years. Why am I seeing this for the first time?" I wondered.

"Well my friend. That's because you're not just reading The Book of Gaten Matarazzo Presents: The Love Doctor Chronicles. You're actually reading The Book of Gaten Matarazzo Presents: The Love Doctor Chronicles Deluxe Edition." He explains with so much pride.

"There's a deluxe edition?" I laugh. "Yes it comes with five extra chapters that help men pick up the ladies. It's hitting shelves next month." He responds. Finn and I couldn't believe it. Our mouths were wide opened. "Guys please close your mouths. You'll catch flies." He says before lifting my chin up, then Finn's.
