I pull up outside Charlie's home and take in my surroundings. The place hasn't changed much since the last time I had been here. The neighborhood has changed a lot though from the one I remember playing in when I was younger. There were more houses around and more people hanging around. I knock on the front door of Charlie's house and receive no response.
I waited for ten minutes and still got no response and I knew that Charlie was here because his car was parked in the driveway and so was someone else's car. I didn't know what else to do so I decide to walk around the house and look through the windows to see if I could see anything.
I look through every window I could reach on the first floor and wasn't about to try the second until I see something I could climb to look into an open window that I could see on the second floor. I wasn't scared of heights or anything but I surely was scared of falling to my death.
I slowly climb the ladder until I was at the window and what I see shocks me. I peek into the window and can hear a girl's voice moaning and the sound of making out but I didn't see anyone until I see two heads pop up from behind the couch.
It was Charlie and Jessica, Kameron's ex-girlfriend, I didn't see this coming at all. Charlie, Jess and I were friends growing up and I didn't think they would ever end up in this predicament.
"Did you talk to Jacob like I told you to?" Jessica asks Charlie. They were talking about me and I didn't know why I was being brought into the conversation.
"Yeah babe, I talked to the fag and he's supposed to be coming over today." Charlie smirks and gives Jess another kiss.
I could feel the tears starting to form in my eyes, Charlie who was suppose to be my friend had just called me a fag like it was nothing.
"His life needs to be ruined, he ruined my relationship and he may be acting all innocent but I know it's only front and he's going to get what's coming to him, the little bitch." Jessica and Charlie laugh into each other's arms and then go back to doing what they were doing early.
I begin to cry more and didn't understand how they couldn't hear me. I had stopped paying attention to my surroundings and didn't notice that I had removed both of my hands from the ledge until I could feel myself falling from the second story and hitting the ground hard. The last thing I remember before I was out was a lady yelling for someone to call 911.

I wake up in a hospital bed with one of my legs in a cast and I couldn't feel anything but pain everywhere else. I look around the room and see my brother, sister, and dads all around me sleep. They all look like they hadn't slept for days, I try to move but I am too weak and I can't find my voice to let them know I was awake.
"Hi, Mr. Gordon nice to see you have finally woken up." A male doctor not much older than my dad walks into the room. He smiles at me and checks something behind me and writes something on a clipboard. "How are you feeling?" He asks me.
"I-I-I'm not feeling too good." I manage to get out. The doctor nods his head and then wakes my dads up and when my dad sees I was awake he almost runs over to me until he realizes I was badly injured.
"Ugh finally you're awake, I wasn't sure if you were ever going to wake up son." My dad smiles at me and I can tell he was about to start crying.
The doctor came back and told me that I had fallen and broken my leg and injured my ribs and that they were healing and that I would be in a cast and crutches for a while. My brother and sister had finally woke up and for the first time since we were little, they were happy to see me and Sophie had even started crying. They eventually started to calm down and I told them that they should go home and get some rest because I had stressed them out today.
"Today, no son not just today." My dad says shaking his head.
"What do you mean, how long was I out?" I ask and a frown appeared on my dad['s face.
"Son you were in a coma for a little over a month." I almost stop breathing.
A month, I was laying in this same bed for a month. I had missed so much school work, Jessica and Charlie had probably ruined my life. Greg and Kameron, I hadn't seen them in almost two months.
I was scared, what is so much had changed since I've been here and what if I can't fix it.
