san/wooyoung

the boy could hear crying from in the hallway as he walked to his room, looking for his green-haired lover. when he opened the door to the dark room, he heard the crying immediately stop.

"sannie?" he asked the darkness cautiously, closing the door behind him as he walked in.

a sniffle was his only response.

"sannie, honey, what's wrong?" wooyoung approached the bed in the black room as his words cut through it, forming a path to the other.

a choked sob.

"sannie, it's okay," the purple-haired other responded, climbing onto his bed and feeling around for the green-haired. "they're okay with it. and with you." he finally felt the older, enveloping him in a loving embrace. weakly, san hugged back, shaking his head. he tried to speak, but nothing came out but a painful, cracking squeak.

"it's okay" the younger reassured. "you don't have to say anything if you can't."

san nodded into his chest.

the two sat in each other's arms for quite some time, wooyoung whispering comforting words to the other and stroking his jade hair.

finally, wooyoung decided they should go back out to his parents. with a soft kiss, wooyoung left the bed, san reluctantly following. the younger felt the other's hand slip into his own. a squeeze from san signified he was ready to go back to the world that stopped not too long ago for the older, susceptible again to the pain others could inflict. this time though, he was ready and okay.

with wooyoung by his side, anything felt possible and he'd come out of it okay.
