wooyoung
"you ready?" yeosang's voice cut into wooyoung's thoughts. he quietly thanked him for making him lose his train of thought.
oftentimes, he thought about... him, even though he didn't want to. the frequent thoughts of the boy he once was so deeply in love with had diminished, but they still clouded his mind whenever he had a spare minute to do nothing but think.
snapping back into reality, the younger nodded with a gentle grin, standing up from his bed. yeosang walked the door, wooyoung following close behind.
the two were planning on going out for dinner again, a rare treat for the broke pair. they didn't really care about where they were going half the time, both just happy to get a break from the dark dorm room.
after a short drive, they arrived at a restaurant. wooyoung didn't even really notice what it was, not caring to know. the pair walked in, got a table, ordered food and drinks - the usual at a restaurant. something odd happened about halfway through their meal, though.
"oh shit, seonghwa just got locked out of his place. mind if i go let him in?" yeosang asked carefully.
"of course! just tell me when you're on your way back so i can tell you if i'm still here or not," wooyoung replied with a grin. the older thanked him and hurried out.
as his eyes followed the other, wooyoung spotted someone familiar stepping into the restaurant. at first, he couldn't put his finger on who it was.
it finally clicked when that someone looked at him.
he looked away in a hurry, telling himself it was just a sick dream. he couldn't possibly be here.
so why did it look like he was?
he slowly pushed himself out of his seat, not breaking eye contact with the other. time seemed to slow down more and more with each step he took towards the person who didn't seem like a stranger.
as he got closer, he noticed the other smile gently. he looked tired, his eyes dark and slightly glassy. unwillingly, the corners of his mouth fought against his wishes and turned upwards a little. eventually, he was inches away from the other, who ran a hand through his messy, dark, shorter-than-before hair. when wooyoung looked a little closer, he saw that there were stripes of red hidden within the black sea. it suited him.
"woo...? is that... actually you?" the boy in front of him spoke softly. wooyoung's eyes snapped up to meet with the other's again as he softly nodded.
now he was sure that it was him, choi san.
