「 twenty-four 」

san/wooyoung

the now open pair sat across from wooyoung's parents. san didn't speak, unable to as much as he wanted to. instead, he held onto wooyoung's arm as he did with shiber earlier, who was left behind in their trip back to those who raised the love of san's life, and hid his irritated eyes in the soft material of the younger's white sweater. his hand was still interlocked with the other's.

san listened as the family talked, catching up as if nothing had happened. as if the world didn't feel like it would end a few short moments ago.

"do you have any plans for the time you two are here?" wooyoung's mother spoke in a soft tone. though san couldn't see it, he felt the other nod.

"i wanted to show san around since he hasn't been here before," wooyoung started with an audible smile, "and i wanted to visit yeo."

"how long are you two here for?" his dad asked.

too damn long, san thought. his breakdown earlier had entirely drained him. he just wanted to go home.

"two days," the purple-headed other responded. san assumed someone nodded.

"well, isn't that perfect! you can do one of those each day! also, your father and i would like to have dinner with you two and get to know you better," wooyoung's mother remarked. san took the last part as directed at himself. he nodded into the younger's arm as a response, hoping she saw.

"his throat's been hurting really bad, so that's why he isn't talking," wooyoung clarified. "he nodded though."

everyone continued with the conversation, san quietly listening in and clinging to his boyfriend.

the night dragged on, nothing much happening. they chatted and ate before going to bed.

san, however, didn't say another word all night.

do you ever cry so hard that you cant talk anymore because san relates big time

also i just realized i didn't explain what happened with shiber but im too lazy to go back and fix it to say what happened! san just left him behind. like he dropped him and he's now just... alone on the floor. vibing, really.
