san/wooyoung

he couldn't believe his eyes. the boy he'd been longing for for months was here once again. he couldn't stop himself from falling into his arms, clinging to him.

he would have never admitted it to anyone except yeosang, but he'd missed san. every part of his body wished he could have him again, but he told himself it was smart that they were apart. it was mostly just to cull the thoughts that raced through his mind endlessly of the late nights with the older, his toned arms wrapped around him, his lips pressing softly against his skin and leaving chills running down his spine, his words gently fluttering from his mouth into the calm air. those thoughts made him hurt more than before, sticking with him at every moment.

san laughed gently and wrapped the toned arms wooyoung had missed ever so dearly around him, whispering a greeting to the younger, who buried his head in the crook of the taller's neck. they stood there, enveloped in each other, for what felt like centuries until wooyoung finally decided he should return to his table. hand in hand, he led the older back to his half-eaten food, beckoning him to sit where yeosang had just moments before.

"wh-why are you back here, sannie...?" wooyoung spoke, bewildered and still holding the other's hand.

"i dunno, i guess i just missed it," he shrugged, tipping his head back ever so slightly and grinning. "besides, this area reminds me of you."

"it does...?" the younger asked with wide eyes. somehow, he couldn't believe that the other missed him, especially after he'd left him high and dry with nothing but a quiet declaration of love.

"yeah!" he smiled, speaking enthusiastically. "i missed being around you, so i went to the place that reminded me most of you."

wooyoung felt distantly familiar butterflies fill his stomach as he smiled back. it felt like the first day he'd met him all over again.

"let's start easier. i'm choi san." wooyoung watched as his eyes grew narrow, smaller. he froze, feeling san's piercing gaze go through him.

"jung wooyoung," he mumbled.

"what was that, cutie? i couldn't hear you," san smiled gently. wooyoung felt heat rise to his cheeks and tried hiding in his sweater, to which san chuckled.

"i-i said my name is jung wooyoung."

a sudden feeling of heat on his hand snapped wooyoung out of his flashback to that fateful encounter, making him look up at the owner of the hand atop his. he apologized softly, flipping the two hands up and interlocking their fingers.

they sat in a comfortable silence, eyes locked on the other's, hands held together tightly. the world around them seemed to freeze, unimportant in the moment. the food wooyoung had just been eating sat, cooling.

soon, a waiter came by to ask if they were done. wooyoung nodded at the waiter, not breaking eye contact.

"your friend that was with you already paid, and he told me something to tell you... oh yeah! he said, have fun. whatever that means," the waiter rambled as he picked up the plates and left.

"wanna get out of here?" wooyoung almost whispered after the waiter was gone. san nodded greatfully, the two getting up and wooyoung dragging san out of the restaurant into the brisk air outside.
