I won't let it happen

You returned to Sesshomaru only to find he wasn't there. "Jaken where is Sesshomaru?"

The little goblin folded his arms, "the Lord went with Inuyasha somewhere. Said something about needing to talk what about I don't know."

You strached your chin, "but Inuyasha hates his brother."

"I know."

This was really strange.

He eyed his brother, irritation written on his face. "What was so important that you needed to tell me?"

Inuyasha scowled, "it's happening again."

"What is?"

"The headaches, random attacks."

Sesshomaru growled, "What do you mean attacks?"

Inuyasha sighed, "Kagome tried to strangle (Y/n)." Sesshomaru wanted to kill the school girl now.

Inuyasha piped up, "it wasn't her fault, something made her do it."

Things began to click in his brain and his brother was catching on. "You knew all along didn't you? That's why your so drawn to her because she's the reincarnation of-"

Sesshomaru grabbed his brother by the collar, "don't you dare say that name!"

Inuyasha yanked his claws off, "You need to tell her! You know how much suffering it caused between Kagome, Kikyo and myself. Just by being the reincarnation of someone else!"

"I can't let her know!"

Inuyasha bared his fangs, "she'll find out soon enough!"

"Why do you care?!"

Inuyasha had a dark expression, "because Kagome cares about her and she's being used to spy on (Y/n). And if all this happens again, Jin will do exactly what he did years ago."

Sesshomaru became enranged, "I won't let it happen...I can't."

"Well then do the right thing, this will involve all of us if Jin returns."

With that Inuyasha left Sesshomaru to wander in his drowning thoughts.

It was close to night by the time Sesshomaru came back. You greeted him with stern expression, "where have you been?!" He looked quite surprised.

"A place."

You put your hands to your hips, "where though? I've been so worried!"

"You were worried...about...me?"

You rubbed your neck and mumbled slightly, "well yes, I know your a demon and are strong but...I still need to know your ok."

He went poker faced, "Sesshomaru?..."

His arms wrapped around, squishing you close to him. "Thank you."

Heat crept across your face a little, "um...your welcome?"

He let go of you, "come sleep with me."

"WHAT!?"

He chuckled, "I only mean sleeping."

"Oh. Ok." You positioned yourself so that he was spooning you.

"Sometimes I wonder what goes on inside that cute head of yours." He patted your hair.

"It's a secret." You whispered.

He smiled and closed his lids.

No light reached this dark, damp lake the water muffled any sound you might hear. His black locks hovered in all directions. His veiw of you from Kagomes pupils.

Those sky blue iris's opened as his mouth stretched into a devilish smirk. One thought pierced his brain, she has returned.

His cackle sounded bubbly and a lot like gargles. Some humans on the surface gasped in fear.
