The starts clustered among the night, Sesshomaru still aching from your wet-cloth punch. The bleeding had at least stopped. The toxin was beginning to ease.
So wetting the wound was no longer required. "Finally your skin has stiched itself up."
"At least you can't attack me."
You glared at him, "that was your fault not mine." Rin stiffled a laugh as you could challenge him more than anyone.
You covered your mouth as you yawned. Sesshomaru spoke, "sleep if your tired."
You muttered a fine.
Expecting you to sleep with him he opened his arms. You scoffed.
"You'll be by yourself tonight I'll be sleeping with dear Rin."
"Oh yay!"
Sesshomaru was baffled, "why?"
You walked over to A-Un turning your head to look at Sesshoamru. "Take a guess."

Night turned to day, Kagome who had woken up quite early was fuming. Inuyasha was doing everything he could to calm her.
"You can't just march up to my brother and demand (Y/n) back! We agreed to let her try with him!"
Kagome groaned, "who would love as someone as cold-blooded as Sesshomaru?!"

Inuyasha sighed, "ok I agree with you there but you don't understand a mating bond. But once the two meet and the symptoms occur you can't do anything!"
"Have you ever had a mating bond?" Kagome placed her hand on her hip.
A light blush crept onto his cheeks, "er...well...does it matter?!"
"Yes!"
Inuyasha averted his gaze, "ok...fine yes."
Kagome raised a brow, "with who and when?"
He growled, "a long time ago and I can't remember who they died!"
A lie. He wouldn't let slip it was the girl in front of him.
"Well no matter I need to see (Y/n) we have an important exam coming up!"
"Oh that demon again? You guys have that a lot, but you can try and waltz up to my brother and get (Y/n)." He said sarcastically.
With a look of sheer determination Kagome went and did exactly that.
"Wait Kagome I wasn't serious! Kagome!"

"I totally forgot about school!" You were pulling on strands of your hair. Suddenly remembering the exam you had that would decide majority of your grades. Then family came into the mix.
"Mum and dad have to be worried sick!"
Sesshomaru was quite concerned about you stressing. "(Y/n)?" But you didn't hear him.
The little voice in your head was talking too loud.
Sesshomaru stood up and made his way to you. Still distracted by your stressing you only noticed the puppy when he wrapped his arms around your waist.
Your back was pressed against the front side of him. While his head rested on your shoulder. "Sesshomaru!"
"Hello, what's wrong?"
He felt your ribcage rise and fall as you breathed in and out. "I have exams and I my family must be worried about me."
"What kind of demons are exams?"
You laughed a bit, "no it's no demons it's just like a test on a sheet of paper."
He cocked his head still confused, "ahhh...it's a demon easy enough for me to handle." His brow arched.
"I don't like that."
"Trust me this demon is easy but you need to let me go through the well."
"No." Was the immediate answer.
"Sesshomaru.."
A different voice spoke, "well...that's what I'm here to talk about."
You both looked.
Kagome.
Like lightning you detached yourself from Sesshomaru's arms. "Kagome!" Ignoring that she had walked in on an intimate moment. You ran up and gave her a big hug.
The puppy growled, "why are you here?"
Kagome walked right up to him and pointed a finger at him, "You need to let (Y/n) go!"
He shook his head, "we agreed that she'd be staying."
You sighed as the two began bickering, you pushed between the two. "How about I go to this exam but come back? And I'm allowed to visit my family from time to time?"
Sesshomaru seemed reluctant to agree, you turned to him and begged. "Pleeease?"
He gritted his teeth and uttered, "fine."
You yelled happily and dragged Kagome along to the bone eaters well. She was baffled like Inuyasha who had been hiding in a tree watching on a branch.
"He's really changed."
