Don't dig into his past

With the fire put out you, Sesshomaru, Rin and Jaken continued on your journey god knows where. Your mind raced with the questions you wanted so desperately to ask. You did not think it possible a man such as himself to feel sorrow.

You picked up your pace so you were now beside him. His gaze shot to you.

"How nice of you to finally join me."

You sighed, "there's something I've been meaning to ask..."

He held your curious stare, "ask."

"Well I don't know much about you and I think if we are to grow closer than we need to know about each other."

His eyes went back to the road, " are you saying we need to know certain things."

You had to take big steps as his feet were moving fairly quick. "I'm saying everything, we need to build on trust."

"Then where would you like to start?" His tone scared you a tad. But you pushed on.

"Ok, I noticed you seemed sad when I kinda wrongly accused you of being a perv. If you were sad, why was that?"

His pupils widened and his fangs caught on his bottom lip. He whirled around, a fury you would have rather not witnessed was present on his face.

Both Rin and Jaken paled.

"I was not sad I was just offended you would think like that!"

You began to tremble but acted brave, " then why are you blowing up like this?!"

A few veins popped from the strain he had on his claws. A noise like a feral dog growling came from him. He didn't answer and only flew off leaving the 4 of you alone. Rin  hopped atop A-Un.

You turned to the small child, "has he ever been that angry before?"

Rin shook her head, "oh no not that I've ever seen."

"Jaken?"

The goblin looked away seeming to not want to talk. "Jaken!"

"Oh alright yes he has! But not for a long time! And I will not tell you for the reason is private!"

You slapped a hand to your forehead, "let's just get on A-Un."

So you and Jaken slid onto A-Un's back, Rin taking the reins and directing A-Un where to go.

Sesshomaru sat at the bottom of a red cherry tree. He was fixated on the red flowers swaying in the field below. The petals dancing slowly in the soft wind, the stems the brightest green.

Sesshomaru closed his eyes, how could notice such a small thing? And only knowing for a couple of days. Usually Rin or Jaken sensed what he would try so hard to hide. Or sometimes not at all.

But you, within one fleeting second of letting it show you detected it. He ran his fingers through his white locks. You were bound to find out weren't you? But he rather you don't so if he could help it.

His past will remain a mystery.

"Lord Sesshomaru!" Rins voice called out.

He opened his lids, "how beautiful." He said quietly.

Rin slapped on the reins as you scolded her not too hard. Sesshomaru thought you could be like a mother or sister to Rin.

A-Un came landing on some flowers trampling them. You swiftly slid off A-Un and ran to Sesshomaru. A look of sincerity on your features. He hooked a finger under your chin.

"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to pry into something so hurtful."

His golden eyes sparkled with an unspeakable affection for you. "I know I should have not been so aggressive. You were only curious."

His arm fell to his side as you embraced him tightly. "You know your not so bad." You said smiling.

"I'll take that as a compliment."

"There is one thing you should be able to answer Sesshomaru." He felt the same reaction when you spoke his name.

"What's that?" He asked, his mouth merging into a smile.

"How old are you?"

A little twinkle in those golden orbs, "Have a guess."

You hummed, thinking for a bit, "19?"

He breathed a laugh, "not even close, honey~." You ignored the heat spreading across your skin.

"Tell me then."

He smirked, "well in human years I'd be 500 years old."

"WHAT?! You're that old!"

Jaken rampaged on about you insulting his Lord. Rin just giggled.

You weren't sure if it was the destined bond between you and the demon that made you comfortable. Or that maybe you were warming up to him.

But somehow you could feel him winning you over.

Omg it's hard to write when your literally inhaling smoke from fires! Here's another chapter don't and dusted, I would like to know what you think.

Is Sesshomaru melting your heart enough?🙂

Also I'm going to repeat something I have already said. I've seen others do it and I thought maybe I could too. Which is letting others get to know me better by an questions people have.
