Unless it was to say good morning or goodnight, then no conversation struck between the two of you. Ever since his accidental slip of the tongue.

You were moody, salty and downright getting on his nerves. (Like how writers block is being a bitch to me😑🙄)

You slept next to Rin and Jaken, visited Kagome more frequently still wary of her after the incident. Inuyasha felt he may need to consult with his older brother one more time.

Sesshomaru ran his fingers along the blade of his sword seemingly having nothing else to do. It was the 3rd day of the second week and things were like when you first met him.

Expect no matter how much of a dog he acted you didn't flinch. Instead hurled insults of him being a dirty mutt. Which he found thoroughly offensive.

"Sesshomaru!" The older brother looked up to his name. "What do you want Inuyasha?"

Inuyasha scowled, "(Y/n) is making Kagome get frequent headaches. But of course neither of them know that."

Sesshomaru stared at him, "and you think I can do something about it?"

"Yes."

"What little brother?"

He raised a brow at Sesshomaru,  "tell her the truth. Like you should have done when you blabbed."

Sesshomaru gripped the middle of the blade his skin wrinkling under the pressure. "I have told you numerous times I can't."

Inuyasha's mouth turned to a frown, "yeah and I've told you numerous times you have to!"

"Do I need to repeat myself again?! I can't!"

Inuyasha curled his fingers in anger, "why can't you?! You know it's the right thing to do!"

Sesshomaru's eyes began to go red, "listen you filthy half-breed! I will not keep repeating myself-"

Inuyasha flared up, "don't call me that! And you won't if you just tell her you idiot! But you won't-"

Sesshomaru yelled more loudly than Inuyasha had ever heard. "BECAUSE I CAN'T BEAR TO LOSE HER AGAIN!"

Sesshomaru's sword fell with a clang as he brought his hands up to cover his face. Inuyasha stood there stunned, speechless.

"Well I...I'm sorry."

His voice was muffled as his hands still covered his face, "your sorry then are you? Well if your sorry then leave me in peace."

"Sesshomaru don't make the same mistake I did, love her for who she is not the reincarnation."

Sesshomaru did not answer his brother.

Kagome leaned on the wall of the hut her brain felt like it was banging about. You watched as her eyes were half-lidded, "Kagome?" She only groaned and then slid down with a thud to the floor.

"Kagome?!"

Inuyasha rushed in when he heard your voice. "Is she ok?!" You dragged her onto the futon.

"I don't know!"

He shoved you aside roughly, "hey!" His head snapped around to you. "Go back to Sesshomaru! Now!"

You couldn't believe how rude he was being, "no I won't!"

"Both you and him are getting on my nerves! Your the reason why Kagome is like this!"
