Make her mine (Sesshomaru x reader)

Chapters will be short.

Kagome had bought a pregnancy test for you to take. You ripped the box open and found a place to pee on the stick in private.

You'd have to wait 24hrs though the 5min ones were more expensive. Sesshomaru eyed you suspiciously as you sat anxiously twiddling your thumbs. "Ok what's up?"

You didn't meet his gaze, "do I have to tell you?"

"Does it concern me?"

"Well yeah."

He scooted closer to you, "then yes you do." Kagome took her cup to drink the rest of it outside.

You looked directly into his irises, "ok what I'm about to tell you will come as a shock. I might be pregnant..."

Seconds passed and his pupils went tiny. His lips parted to shout but you clamped a hand over his mouth. "DON'T freak out ok?! Ok. I'm on edge enough as it is."

He pried your hand away from his mouth. "I..."

Your heart beat wildy as he worked out what to say. "I will be a proud father."

You nervously smiled, "I MIGHT be pregnant it's not definite."

He swung an arm around your  shoulders and wrapped you into a hug. His eyes were so gentle and filled with love when you looked up at him.

"You really want to be a father don't you."

He chuckled a little, "being a father was never really in my plans. Had you presented the idea to me moons ago I would have scoffed now...I'm prepared and happy to maybe be one."

You flashed him a toothy grin he peppered you with kisses.

The day wasted away quite slowly, eventually the sky melted into orange. Then at its end a starry night taking it's place as eveyone shut their eyes.

Anxiety churned in your gut, you weren't ready for a kid or kids at all. You didn't even know if you could see yourself having kids in the future.

No matter who you were with, sure the children you would have would be beautiful beyond belief. But you were only 18 in your eyes that was still too young to be a parent. 

Sighing you closed your lids and drifted into the land of dreams. Tightly clutching the stick in your hand as you slept. The worried expression never leaving your sleeping face.

Someone was poking something sharp on your cheek. You swatted the thing away. But the sharp object proceeded to poke you out of your slumber. With a groan your lids fluttered open.

Finding that it was Sesshomaru who had poking you with his long nail. A fang caught his bottom lip with the smile he presented you with.

"What do you want Sesshy? I'm trying to sleep the sun hasn't even arisen yet." Which was true, a few stars still scattered among the sky.

He pulled the blanket from you, "I want to know before anyone else does."

You groaned feeling annoyed at his pettiness. "And it couldn't wait a few more hours?"

He shook his head.

You rolled your eyes which he glared at you in return. You wanted to evade the answer for as long as you could.

But Sesshomaru wanted to know as soon as possible. Damn puppy.

"Fine let's get this over with. Let's head somewhere private just in case...I scream."

He followed you to a tree, sitting under it's shade, you both took a breath.

Removing your thumb from the small screen you felt your heart pace a million miles. There was the result.

Sesshomaru chewed his lip impatiently, "well what does it say??"

You laughed a little, "it came back negative." You were utterly relieved.

Sesshomaru folded his arms leaning against the tree in silence. You arched a brow. "Is something wrong?"

He avoided your gaze, "not exactly..."

The gears in your head began turning until you figured it out.

"You're...disappointed?"

He shifted uncomfortably at your  words, "omg you are! But why?"

He ran a hand through his hair, heat crept across his skin. "Well I wanted children...very much...especially with you, I even bought an estate for us to live in so we had a place to call home."

Your jaw dropped.

"You what?!"

His face turned red a little more. "I suppose I got carried away, excited even."

You smiled then giggled and gave him a quick kiss. "You moron." He turned his face away.  "We need to move to our new home soon."

"Ok."

So with the short pregnancy scare and Sesshomaru getting a bit carried away you now lived in a lavish mansion. Though having children was still on the demons mind as he scanned the lists of names on a scroll.
