Sunken down into his chair he looked exhausted before him as both group gathered, still missing one of the leaders, the only leader he had really cared about. Almost losing himself to his exhaustion he felt his eyes almost closing, but when they were ready to give in the doors were pushed open and all the voices' decimals dropped to silence. There were no catching up to do no more, nothing to speak of than the matters at hand. The heels of her white boots, decorated by strips of what seemed like pure gold, clacked against the ground, the first thing they had all noticed were the pink pigtails entering the dorm. Dressed in her uniform she looked around nervously, catching everyone in her vision before she exclaimed her apologies for being late. Ezreal leaned his chin on his fist and dreamed off of on the sight of her, one of the things that he admired so much about her that even though she was supposed to be the one to look after, she reminded all of them that they were still connected to mortality, no matter what race they were. Inhaling deeply the young traveller sighed dreamy and his glance at her quickly became a stare, he took every bit of her frame in his vision, dreamed of a day where she would finally be his, where he did not have to chase her.
'You took your damn time,' Xayah mumbled angrily, dangling one of her feather daggers on the tip of her finger. Her whole attire had changed, everyone's did in the blink of an eye the moment the first star had entered. From normal beings that were caught in their daily lives like it was nothing strange, they all now soaked in bright colours, sparkles and funny but classic outfit. Rakan had wrapped an arm around Xayah's shoulders and pressed her against his chest. 'What's she trying to say is that she's glad you're here.' Xayah wanted to roll her eyes at him without giving away a smile, but she failed and cupped his cheek in her hand as she looked at the first star.
Lux giggled with a blush burning on her cheeks and Ezreal noticed in an instant that there was something going on that was not going to be discussed at their meeting. A frown had wrinkled his forehead and he sunk back into thinking what could have taken so much of her time. Did she meet someone? Was there someone else? Ezreal, calm yourself, it was not to late. He said to himself and hoped that none of those thoughts would be true.
'I was caught up, but I'm here now. So Ahri, you said that there was something you wanted to talk about?'
Ahri brushed her blonde hair back, with the same attitude she had wherever she was standing in front of a loud crowd and successfully drew everyone's attention. Despite her not being the first star, it did not matter if she spoke to her own kind, humans, Noxians or gods, she always somehow managed to dominate the crowd and rule them as one. 'After the recovery that Xayah and Rakan got, Neeko found something linked to their minds, she worried that there were more guardians that had fallen to Zoe's darkness.' Ezreal looked up when he saw a sudden movement in the corner of his eye, a shriek almost as a reaction to whenever her name was mentioned. Janna looked away from Ahri as if her presence recalled memories and even though Syndra gave nothing away, she too now looked at the ground. Ezreal kept a closer look on them and stared back at Ahri, for now Neeko had joined her speech. 'That's right! Neeko saw fractions, colours. They were not like knife bird woman!'

'What did you see?' Lux asked, fear dooming into her eyes.
'Neeko saw two more, they are very scared, yes,' She nodded to set more strength into her words, her hair that moved wildly around her round, blushing cheeks. 'But one is very weak, is taking dark matter all on her, protecting the other light.'
'There are more?' Rakan stammered, almost tripping at the spot as he was struck by disbelief. Ahri looked over her shoulder and threw a menacing glare at Syndra and Janna, as if she knew what they were hiding that had drawn them even further into their shell.
Neeko nodded again and balled her hands into fists. 'They are still guardian, but Neeko fears not for long for the darkest one. Her light is almost gone.' The chameleon placed every tip of her fingers against her and drew them slowly back, mucus spread from her finger tips and even though Ezreal had seen it over a million times now, he still hated the sight of it. Neeko showed the colors through the mucus, one being a clear haze of green and the other a faded purple, almost lost into the grey.  'She is very sick and protecting green, if she dies, green will be next.'
'We're not losing more guardians, I already almost lost you, Xayah and Rakan, but I won't allow others to fall for the same faith,' Ahri dismissed the meeting with those words, as she walked past Syndra and Janna she looked at them with anger hidden behind her eyes, for only they would know for what they had done. 'You two should have the same mindset.' The two women remained silent and gave each other a quick glance, they knew who the two fallen guardians were but refused to speak of them. Ahri brushed her hair once more and with that her finger caught the sparkles, drawing all the energy out of her transformation, now wearing a different outfit. Her tail lost it's fur and dazzled like diamonds, her outfit that were replaced by a skin tight spandex,  that almost had the fit of a bathing suit, supported by thigh stockings. 'I'll be out on stage if anyone is looking for me.' Ezreal did not know what made Ahri more fearsome, her stone cold attitude, her ability to eat his soul if he got on her bad side, or the fact that her mood changed could change in a matter of a split-second.
Poppy and Lulu ran passed him, chased by Jinx who had gotten into their winter clothing. 'Loser gets hit by fishbones!' With that adrenaline she pushed the Yordles aside and jumped through the portal. Until everyone left and all who was left were Ezreal and Lux.
Ezreal pushed his blonde hair back, gathering all his confidence and strength he had as he approached her. With the same attitude he has around most people he flicked his chin and grinned at her. 'So, are you busy for tonight?' This is your time, he has been friends with her for so long now, she had to some day go out with him right?  He thought to himself.
Lux looked at him with a frown troubling her soft facial features and still with the silence in-between them he felt himself growing closer towards her. Placing her hand in her neck her blue eyes gazed around the place. 'Sorry Ez, I have plans for tonight.' He had never heard her mumble this bad, to him it gave him the impressions that there were something going around that she was not ready to share yet. Ezreal blinked a few times out if disbelief and quickly recovered, throwing a wink before he smiled the rejection off. 'Sure, maybe some other time.' With just those words he backed off and turned his back towards her, his hands dug deeply in his pockets, feeling the magic of his disguise wearing off and returning to his former self. How many times had he asked her out by now? All that she had rejected, but he was not going to give up, he was going to become stronger and better, hope for that one day that she would fall for him as much as he did for her. For now, he had to wait.

Kai'Sa eyes were still caught looking up at the skies, wondering if there would be more stars out, but alas. The more she stared the more time she wasted and knew that the void was growing larger. She got up, the cold Shuriman wind of the night that pushed her dark vibrant hair over her shoulders. It drew her back to one of the days she were just a mere child, but the memories were very faint. She dreamt of a place where there were no worries, no void to mind and no voidling consuming her skin. Exhaling a painful breath of air she drew the skins back over her face, allowing the mask to take. She now was one with her second skin.
With a forceful leap from the rocks she were sitting on she dashed forward, using the energy from her jets to steer her into the direction of the void.
No stone would be left unturned.

Returning to the merchant camp he pushed the blankets of the tent aside to get a greater view over his retreat. His bed was still ruffled from his nap and it seemed like his valuables were untouched. With an almost inaudible sigh rolling over his lips he grasped for the item in his pocket that had been longing to shine in his hand once more. With the artefact finally retrieved, there would be no worries for a lack of supplies in his mana department, but that did not ease the demons lingering in his mind. The girl that he held strong emotional feelings for had no eye out for him whatsoever and the woman that had risked her life to save him was uncertain to be found again. There was not any legend about her other than a few glimpse of her appearance, Ezreal was perhaps one of the very few that had seen her fight, for the real cause. A hero feared as a villain, a monster. He wished for a day to see her again and reward her for her deed. Closing his fingers around the cold stone of the artefact he crossed his arm over his eyes and fell down on his bed. Tomorrow would be the decision to either find her and come up with something from his mind that he could repay her with or go home, forget about the whole adventure and find a new one. The sound of home had never sound any better to him, for once he wanted to spend a day or two in his own dorms, to enjoy the sight of Piltover, see the landscapes and stores, perhaps new tools. The sight of his elders' home brought a saddened smile, he stored the artefact right beside his bed and riddened himself of his jacket, hooked his finger onto the neck of his shirt and pulled it over his head. He did not want to go home drenched in sweat, so he risked the chance of going home with sand in all the places he dreaded they would ever end up. Scratching his chest he took another look at his body, wondering if that could perhaps be his flaw. He surely was not as muscled up as Lux's brother, a man of more muscle than brain, who devoted his life to lift the heaviest thing on Runeterra, though his lifestyle did not grant Ezreal the stamina to run longer miles. Though he was not as fit as most male strived in Demacia, he was still quite athletic, surely more slim, but that not make him lack in any department.
His face grimaced a sour expression at the thought that that might be the reason why Lux was not into him, because he was not as buff as the others. Ezreal groaned and covered his eyes with the palms of his hands. Tomorrow would be a new day, he thought to himself kicking off his boots. Stretching himself out one more time he let himself surrender to the hay mattress and closed his eyes.

He would search for her again, if he did not find her by evening he would go home and forget about the whole adventure.
