The Last Jedi

Hera's POV

I woke up to have Ben still by me. He was facing me, holding my hand. He looks so peaceful. I touched his chin, placing a soft kiss.

"Watching me sleep?" He yawns. I chuckled.

"I just wanted to catch the moment while it lasted." The small window showed the stars and planets. Just so beautiful. I grabbed his hands, intertwine with mine. "Were you mad at me, when i left?" I asked him. He frowned.

"I can never stay mad at you. I felt like I was broken. My other self was gone." He looks at me, rubbing my cheek. "A part of me left when you took off."

"Its funny, how I always seem to be back, with you. As if-"

"The force between us knows. As if-"

"We're meant to be." I gave him a small smile. We laid in bed for a good hour, just being in each others arms. Then he got out of bed, took a shower. "Ill be back." He said as he walks away. I followed, took a shower and waited with a towel as I still had no clothes. I sat on the bed, waiting for his return. The door slides open and here comes Ben.

"Here you go." He handed me clothes. Black outfit, at least it wasn't a dress this time. I put on the clothes. "You cant stay here."

"Why?" I turned to him.

"Its not safe. Snoke, he'll sense you. I can't have you in that type of danger." I walked up to him. He couldn't look at me. I put my thumb on his chin. Im not giving up. This is our chance.

"Ben, look at me." His eyes slowly turns to me. "I can protect myself. Trust me. I fought 5 men on my own." I gave him a smile, making sure that he wasn't sad, or hurt.

"Not with Snoke. He's too powerful." He grabs my hands. "I cant lose you. Not again." He kneels down, placing his head on my stomach. This wasn't Kylo Ren, at all. This was really Ben Solo. My Ben Solo. I can feel the light, peeking through. Ever since i came back. I stroked his hair, calming him down a bit.

"Whats your plan?" Just me seeing him like this, it just tears me apart.

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes." He gave a look, a serious one.

"You just cant stay here." I looked down, but I just got you. "Its far to dangerous. I'll help you get out of here, take a TIE-Fighter, go somewhere. Somewhere safe, away from this mess."

"But the resistance? Poe?" I cant just leave. Without them knowing? Leia? Rey? Poe? Finn?

"I just want you safe." Tears fell from my face. I continue to stroke his head.

"You need to disconnect the tracking on the fighter. You know how to do that?" I told him. He nods. "Disconnect that, then, Ill go." I choked on my words. Ill go, they haunted me. I just got him. Ben stood up and grabbed my face.

"Im sorry."

"Just, huh, take me to the room." I stuttered. He gave me cloak as I could blend in. The hood over my head and he gave me back my lightsaber. We left the bedroom. Ben grabbed my arm as if I was going to be taken somewhere since Hux is around. He took me to the room, luckily nobody was there. Ben took me to the controls. "You have to turn that on." He touched the button. "No the other one." He pointed at another button. "No." He was just pointing at different buttons. "No!"
