Ryan

Big Bro had been asleep for about an hour. The crystal around him crumbled the moment his Titan hit the water. I've been sitting in a chair next to the bed the whole time, not taking my eyes off of him. I just had this feeling that I had to prevent any danger from befalling him. I didn't mind too much. I occasionally looked out the window to see if we were approaching. The last time I looked an island appeared on the horizon. The sun was reaching the ocean at this point. Big Bro began to fidget and my eyes shot right back towards him. A small, damp spot sat below his head from the sweat. His eyes slowly opened, and his gaze immediately fell on me.

"Hey." He groaned.

"Hey." I smiled. "How are you feeling?"

"Fine." He sighed as he sat up. "Are we almost there?"

"You need to rest." I explained. "You need to get energy to transform again."

"Just let me stand up." He groaned. He sighed and stood up. He walked by me and left to the deck. I quickly followed behind him.

He stopped at the front of the boat and leaned against the side, looking out to the island. I stood next to him and matched his stance.

"Do you still miss the others?" He asked.

"I've been able to handle it... but I occasionally do." I answered.

"I'd like to take a guess on who you miss the most." He chuckled.

"Annie... yeah, yeah." I sighed.

"Do you like her, Ryan?" Big Bro smirked.

"I don't know." I answered. That answer surprised him.

"Really?" He said. "Would've thought you'd say 'yes' while stuttering."

"You're the weird one now." I groaned as I leaned down further. I quickly decided to change the subject. "Are you going to be ready to transform?"

"I think so." He answered. "I kinda freaked out when I saw myself in the crystal."

"How're you gonna transport it?" I asked.

"The Warhammer can harden its body, so I could probably harden a cage on my body to hold it." He explained.

"I just hope you can hold it until we reach the walls." I said. "How do you think we'll reach the inside of the walls without being seen?" Sam then leaned his head on his palm.

"Good question." He said. "Um... Do you think anybody comes out of the walls?"

"What are you trying to say?" I asked.

"I'm saying that we could use the open gate to enter the walls." He explained. "And if we get captured, we just deal with it. I doubt they'll kill someone who's outside the wall."

"Don't be surprised if they do." I sighed. "You better get some rest until we get there."

"I'll be fine." Big Bro retorted.

"But you need to be full rested-"I stared.

"I said I'll be fine." He growled. I sighed as I leaned against the side of the boat, waiting to reach Paradis.

We reached the island soon after with few other words spoken. We were able to clumsily park the ship at the dock and made our way off.

"So surreal time be back." Big Bro chuckled as we stepped off the boat.

"Do you still have the knife?" I asked.

"I kinda brought it into the water when I transformed." He chuckled.
