"And why are you here?!" The Commandant towered over me.

"To get stronger!" I answered.

"What a vague goal," the Commandant chuckled. "Unfortunately, you don't look like much. If I didn't know, I'd say you were a lost child. The Titans may just mistake you as a dog." He turned his head to the rest of the row. "Row one, about face!" Me and the rest of the row turned 180 degrees and faced the row behind us. I came face-to-face with a shocked Eren. He looked at me with wide eyes and a baffled expression. I responded with only a soft smile.

The next few minutes went by with the Commandant yelling at a few other people. He was holding some kid with a shaved haircut up by his head when a loud crunch sounded through the crowd.

"Hey, who're you?" The Commandant asked the girl eating the potato. She had dark red hair tied into a ponytail. The towering man then stomped over to the girl and screamed at her. "You're officially on my shit list! Who the hell are you?!" She saluted and responded,

"Sasha Braus from Dauper Village!"

"Sasha Braus, huh?" The Commandant said. "Just what is it that you're clutching in your right hand?"

"A potato, sir!" She answered. "It was getting cold and I thought now would be a good time to eat it!"

"But, why?" He asked. He was clearly baffled by this girl. "Why eat it?"

"Are you asking why people eat potatoes, sir?" She asked. She then tore the potato into two uneven halves and held out the smaller one to the Commandant. "Here, sir. Have half." He took the half and looked at the girl.

"Have half? Really?" His face then contorted in anger. "DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ARE HERE?!"

"O-Of course I do, sir!" Sasha answered.

"YOU WILL RUN LAPS UNTIL YOUR LEGS COLLAPSE. YOU HEAR ME!" He roared.

"Yes, sir!" Sasha screamed with her eyes closed.

"YOU WILL ALSO HAVE NO MEAL PRIVILEGES FOR A WEEK!" He continued.

"NO!" Sasha screamed. He then ripped the potato from her hand and turned to the rest of the crowd.

"DISMISSED!!" He yelled. Everyone began to flock towards the large cabin near the edge of the dry area. I, on the other hand, sighed and stretched my back.

"B-Big Bro?" A voice asked. I looked in front of me and saw Ryan standing in front of me in complete shock. He slowly walked to me and put a hand on my chest. He then wrapped his arms around me in the tightest hug ever. It even began to hurt, but I didn't tell him that. He began to cry into my shoulder. "You're alive!" He cried. I looked past his shoulder and saw the trio all together. They were all more relieved than shocked at this point, but I didn't really care. I patted my brother on the back softly as he continued to hug me.

"You got buff," I chuckled as I felt his back muscles. Ryan chuckled as he let go of me.

"I thought I lost you," he sobbed.

"But you didn't," I quickly responded. "I'm here now, and you four seemed to do just fine without me."

"Where were you?" Armin asked as he joined us. I scratched my head.

"To be honest, I don't know." I answered. "I just woke up inside Wall Sina and learned that Wall Maria was breached. However, I wasn't worried. I knew you guys would make it out."

"Not everyone." Armin added.

"What do you mean?" I asked. Eren joined us and answered,

"Mom was eaten by a Titan." My head then dropped slightly.
