This is something I've never done before but I personally loved writing this :))))

"(Y/n), can you pleaseeee do me a favor?" Zenitsu asked giving you puppy dog eyes, your face brighten when he entered the room, smile spread across your face.
"Sure, what is it Zenitsu?" You said eagerly.
"So there's this girl I like and since your very close to her. Could you help me make Nezuko my girlfriend," he said, you kept a smile on your face but inside you were torn, a part of you wished 'this girl' was you but Zenitsu always went on and on about how he wanted to marry Nezuko and it broke your heart.....because Zenitsu had a special place in your heart but you couldn't bring yourself to tell him so you decided to say yes.
"Sure....I'll help you," you said quietly, Zenitsu was about to jump in excitement but he noticed your sudden change and looked at you.
"(Y/n), are you okay? Is it something I said-."
"No! I'm fine Zenitsu, don't worry about me," you paused as you felt a sudden pain in your stomach, it was happening again, "let me go plan something okay, I'll be back!" You said before running inside of the butterfly estate as quickly as you could to your room.
You burst in before bolting to the bathroom, you gasped before you began coughing up petals, the pain was excruciating and streams of tears fell down your cheeks. You didn't have much time left, it was worse than last time it was faster than you excepted, you thought you had at least a few months left but now.......you only had around a few hours before you would stop breathing entirely.
"(Y/n)...." Zenitsu said standing at the door, his eyes widened and had a shocked expression on his face. You froze not wanting to look at him, ashamed of yourself in this condition.
"You shouldn't be here, I don't want you to see me like this.....please leave Zenitsu," you sobbed, as you began coughing up more petals. Zenitsu gasped before rushing to your side holding back your hair, but his hand stopped moving he realised what your were coughing up.
"(Y/n)...I-I thought this disease was fiction, how come you did tell anyone....how come you didn't tell..me," he said as his voice cracked, he hated seeing you like this and it broke his heart.
"I couldn't tell you, Zenitsu...you were too focused on her anyways," you said as your breathing became slower and slower. He was silent out of words to say, he stood up carrying you bridal style out of your room and to the butterfly estate hospital. You looked up at him with tears in your eyes, he wasn't wining or loud like his usual self but he was completely calm and he seemed very serious.
"Don't worry (y/n), you'll be fine I promise," he said placing you on a hospital bed before calling for help, they came rushing in but sadly there was nothing they could do. The hanahaki disease was a fictional disease only told in stories but there wasn't a known cure except for the root cause of the problem. They cleaned you as much as they could before Zenitsu coldly told them to leave the two of you alone.
"Who is it (y/n)?" He asked looking at you seriously. You kept quiet not muttering a word, "I said who is it (y/n), who is it that is making you sick?"
"It's you! It's you Zenitsu," you said a bit to loud considering the condition you were in.
"M-me," Zenitsu said looking at you with shocked expression on his face. He was snapped out of his thoughts when you began coughing worse then before. "Oh shit! (Y/n)." He said finally breaking down in front of you. He held onto your hand as tears fell down his cheeks.
"Please (y/n) I'm so sorry I didn't realised earlier i could've prevented this-." He stopped before realising something, he quickly leaned in pressing his lips against yours not caring about the condition you were in. You felt your body relax immediately as the pain from your lungs faded away and your breathing was normal again. Zenitsu slowly broke the kiss looking at you with a bright red face.
You looked up and realised that the entire room was now covered in beautiful flowers and you felt like yourself again.
"I DID IT! I KISSED HER! (Y/N) I LOVE YOU PLEASE MARRY ME!"
