Chapter Three

JOHN'S POV

"How many did she kill?" I asked, "four, and wounded two others... sir" the yellow haired man replied.

"She needs to be brought in" a red headed man suddenly chimed in from the corner "let me send the chosen... with judges, to patrol holland valley, someone, somewhere, knows who and where she is"

"I can handle this, Jacob" I tried to say calmly to my brother "ERIC" i shouted.

Suddenly a man comes into the room "yes brother John?".

"Get your best men, go after this woman, and bring her to me... alive" I ordered.

"Shouldn't we take her to Joseph? He would want to decide what hap-" I suddenly cut Eric off.

"NO! My brother.. does NOT find out about this! I have everything under control!" I shouted angrily.

"Yes sir" Eric didn't say another word, for fear of angering the younger man, he simply left.

"You lost your cool, baby brother" Jacob said, with a smirk, "don't worry, Joseph won't find out what we're planning"

"What if he does? Brother, who knows what he would do" I said, trying my best to hide the fear I held for the man.

"Let me worry about Joseph, he's done choosing our fate" my brother stated confidently.

'It doesn't matter how many times Jacob says not to worry, I will. I know what Joseph is capable of' I didn't share my thoughts with Jacob, I knew he wouldn't listen.

Ellanas POV

The sun is shining through the window, directly into my eyes "ugh I forgot to close the blinds last night" I groaned.

I opened my eyes and tiredly looked around the room, Boomer was laying on the floor.

Hesitantly, I slowly get out of bed, everything hurts, especially my shoulder.

I made my way to the kitchen, Boomer following closely behind, "I need some breakfast, what about you boy?" I asked the pooch.

Boomer barked rather loudly, while wagging his tail, "okay okay, I get it. Though, I don't have any dog food, I'm sure you won't mind some scrambled eggs" I talked to Boomer like he was a person. 'If someone saw me they would think I'm crazy, talking to a dog' I thought to myself.

~~~~TWO HOURS LATER~~~~

"Hey Nick, it's Ellana. I really need to talk to you, can I swing by your house?" There was a pause before she answered "Great! I should be there in about an hour, see you soon!" I hung up.

'I missed Nick, we were best friend's before I had to leave, It'll be nice to see him again' "come on Boomer, let's go" I called to the relaxing dog.

Next thing I know I'm back in Holland Valley, the place where I got shot, less than 24 hours ago.

"Shit" I whisper to myself, "there's a roadblock up ahead. The vehicles all have the same weird symbol that was on the vehicles at the pumpkin farm" i relay to the dog sitting beside me.

i stop and roll down my window as a sharply dressed man walks up to my truck 'who is this guy?'.

"Well hello there" he charmingly smiles, suddenly his eyes drift to the dog in the passenger seat "nice dog you have there"

"Thanks" I knew he was looking for me and Boomer "his names Spot" I made up quickly.

"Spot, huh? A fitting name" the charmer stated.

"So what's going on? Can I go through?" I quickly changed the subject.

" we're looking for someone, a murderer" the man smirks at me "seen anyone suspicious out and about?"

"N-no" 'shit, I stuttered. He's knows I'm lying' "I'm just getting to Holland Valley today, didn't even know anyone died".

"Just getting to town, huh? Well then, let me be the first one to welcome you to Holland Valley, names John, John Seed. I'm the Harold of the Valley" the man introduces himself.

'Great, I'm assuming he's the same guy who will "save me" as the freaks from Rae-Rae's pumpkin farm so 'politely' put it last night' "I'm Alex Winters" I quickly lied.

"It's a pleasure, well I don't want to keep you any longer, you can go ahead and continue about your day" he gave me a big toothy grin that reminded me of the Cheshire Cat. "just keep an eye out, and stay safe out there"

"Thank you, good luck on your search" I quickly put my truck into drive and sped away without another word, looking into my rear view mirror I see the man grab something out of a nearby truck, it's a radio, he begins talking into it while watching me drive away "he knows"

CHAPTER THREE... So Ellana has met the charmingly handsome John Seed. I wonder what's gonna happen. Is he going to send his men after her? If he does, will they be able to bring her in "alive"? Also... what's Jacob and John hiding from Papa Joe???? Is Joseph going to find out? Hmmm guess we'll have to wait and see...
