Ellana spent the night laying in bed, There was no chance she was getting any sleep tonight. It was 4:36am, Jacob left around midnight after explaining the plan a little more, he also gave you your phone back, from earlier that day, when John had confiscated it.
ELLANAS POV
I tossed and turned some more, praying for sleep to consume me "it's not happening, almost 5am. I wonder if Nicks awake?" After some consideration, i decided to call Nick. "Hello?" I definitely woke him up "hey, sorry to wake you, but I need a really big favor " I went on to explain that I knew how to stop the war, I didn't tell him about the Seeds being involved though, because i knew he would be furious. I convinced him to gather some of the leading resistance members, Eli Palmer in the whitetail mountains, a few people from Falls End and the sheriff in the Henbane River. I'm supposed to meet Nick and the others in the Henbane River, at the old jail.
What Nick doesn't know is, I'm bringing Jacob Seed with me, I go to my contacts and Find Jacobs number, i had him put it in there last night so I could keep him updated.... obviously.
"What?" was all I heard on the other end, it was almost 6am now, so of course, he was awake. "I figured it out, I figured out how to get the resistance to work with you" sure it wasn't foolproof, but it was the only chance we had.
"Basically, I'm picking you up later and we're going to meet some resistance members at the jail. It's all very simple, also no weapons and only you and I" it was quiet for moment 'what's he thinking?'
"You're crazy, I mean it, you've actually lost your mind, if you think I'm going to the jail ALONE without any weapons" Jacob said very sternly.
"Jacob, please, we both know you don't need any weapons to defend yourself" his name felt so right sliding off of my tongue.
All to be heard was a quiet "hmph" on the other end "soooo" I made sure to drag it out "will you go?"
"Be at the veterans center by 6"
~~~~LATER THAT DAY~~~~
I spent the day doing nothing but preparing for the meeting, 'what the hell am I going to say? How am I going to keep them from killing Jacob? Why the fuck did I agree to do this?'
It was a little after 3pm now, I didn't have to pick Jacob up for another 3 hours, "I guess I could get ready, maybe do my makeup? What do you think Boomer?" The dog just tilted his head to the side.
"You're right, I should definitely do my makeup" I wasn't what some would consider a 'Girlie girl' but I definitely loved an excuse to do my makeup.
So I did a simple look, just some, eyeliner, mascara, and a bit of red lipstick.
